If by Merge you meant the Dash/Prime version, this may work as a Left-spin attacker. You can change the Disk with something that has more OWD but still heavy enough like 10 or 7. 

My own combo is gF.Polish.Absorb, which I know from the get-go is a bad and outclassed combo if intended for utilizing the spin-steal, but still is quite as good almost like its predecessor.
