I’m going to take a bit of a break from writing for a while. I'm definitely not quitting this series, but its just a quick vacation to get back some more creativity.

It’s actually been a bit nicer, not working much on B:MB for a week, and it let me focus more on life a bit better. I don’t know when I’ll upload the next Chapters, but stay tuned.

If this sounds like I’m also taking a vacation from the WBO, I’m not, it’s just B:MB.

I'm back! While I went on break, I've decided to re-do the entire series. Looking back on it all, the writing style is a bit strange to me now, and I definitely should have spent a lot more time with the first few chapters, than trying to release right after announcing.

I'm not releasing the "remastered" chapters anytime soon (I haven't even gotten started "remastering" yet!), this is just an announcement that I should've made weeks ago.
When I do release, I will probably not have a really organized schedule. Ill also add more information about the characters/beys in the future.


So yeah, sorry for the super long break(s). (And extremely possible future ones)

So, I've taken some time to think about what I should do for the reboot/remastering, and it seems to be coming together quite nicely in my mind.

The reboot will not be with any of the burst characters this time, I find it too difficult to implement their personalities in a good way to my story, and that's why I made that decision.

Because of this, expect a few more brand-new characters in the reboot! I have also made this decision by reading some of the new threads talking about the future of Beyblade anime/manga and gotten inspiration to start anew in a way that feels like how it should be done.

Will be making the brand-new System-Plot Overview as well.

Beyblade: Metal Burst (Rebooted) System Overview

Layer: The layer of the Beyblade is separated into two parts. The 'MB Blade', which is the top-most part of the Layer, and is where the more prominent contact points are placed. The second part of the Layer is the 'MB Layer'. the MB Layer fits under the MB Blade uniformly and contains the lesser contact points.
The metal teeth of the Beyblade (for Burst Mode only) are also contained within the MB Layer.

The MB Blade also includes an unbreakable metal burst stopper embedded within it, that engages with a hard launch. This mode is called Metal Mode. This ability can also be reversed by folding the metal lock farther back within the MB Blade, locking it into Burst Mode. To get the metal lock out, simply utilizing a Lock Tool will be enough.
The teeth on MB Layers vary in design, but not in material. They are always made of metal.  The main material of the entire layer is metal. Other materials, such as rubber, can also be used.


NA's: Nano Armors are the middle of the Beyblade, and are adjustable in size, to make the Beyblade short, or tall. (Not unlike a Metal Fight Spin Track) They also contain the two metal nubs on the Burst Cap to make contact with the MB Layer's metal teeth, plus a spring for burst resistance. There are also fused metal prongs to make the bursting gimmick possible. (Not unlike a Burst Forge Disk) <-- (New)


NT's/ND's: Nano Tips (also called Nano Drivers), have two clips on opposite ends, to connect with Nano Armors.


MB Cd's: MB Core Drives are where the motif of the Beyblade is placed. The shape, and materials of this part can be highly experimented with. (Example: Metal Bit motif, the rest is plastic etc.) MB Core Drives hold the full Layer together, by being screwed into the center holes in the layer. It does not hold the entire Beyblade together.


So far, there are two Systems for the Metal Burst System. The Fused Layer System, and the Dual Hybrid Layer System.  The Fused Layer System is where the MB Blade, MB Layer, and MB Cd's, or MB Core Drives are completely fused together. This is the primary system, and not much customization can be done. (Is the size of a God Burst Beyblade) <-- (New as well)

The Dual Hybrid Layer System is the successor to the Fused Layer System, and the MB Blade, MB Layer, and MB Cd's, or MB Core Drives are completely separate and unique pieces of the Layer, creating far more customizability. (Is the size of a Cho-Z subsystem Beyblade, like Cho-Z Valkyrie) <-- (Also new)

I wouldn't reccommend having loads of the beys features dual-spun because it could limit them, especially attack types. 
Also, is Metal mode like, a burst stopper than can be pushed back in battle or is it more of a set mode thing?

The dual spin tip I agree with, now that I think of it. I guess I was focusing a bit much on the plastic gen’s features. Just changed the overview to account for that.

Beyblade: Metal Burst (Rebooted) Plot Overview (Season 1)

This story takes place in a completely new universe. Beyblade in this universe remains a largely known sport in many places around the globe. The Beyblades in this universe have all evolved around the Metal Burst System, making this system the only system used in this universe.

Xenophon "Xeno" Gatsuo, is the young Main Protagonist for this series. He is a pretty strong Blader, and easily makes friends because of his likeable personality. His older brother, Bellerophon "Bell" Gatsuo is the Antagonist. Bell is a very strong Blader, and he often places others and Xeno down, ruthlessly deeming them as weak and unworthy Bladers.

Xeno seeks to get the recognition and respect that he truly deserves from his brother. On his journey, he will meet many new friends, as he strives to become: NUMBER ONE!  Will Xenophon be able to "redeem" himself in Bellerophon's eyes? Find out in: Beyblade: Metal Burst!

(A young boy is seen running frantically through a densely populated city block)
???: I'm late! I'm so late! I'm definitely going to go to detention-
(The boy suddenly stops)

???: I've got to take a short cut; not like it'll save me though...
(The boy continues, and arrives at a bridge, not far from his school)

???: Almost there-
(The boy stops as he hears some aggressive talking below the bridge)

Eclipse Grunt 1: Kid, just give up your Beyblade! It'll make it easier for the both of us!

Eclipse Grunt 2: That's right. Unless you want it to be completely pulverized!

Kid: No! My blade and I will keep fighting-

???: Wait! Stop bullying my friend, Queran- AH!
(The boy tumbles down the hill next to the bridge, landing painfully next to the scene)

Eclipse Grunt(s) What the-

Queran:  Huh- Xenophon?!

Xenophon: I'm alright... But what are these guys doing to your Beyblade?!
(Amidst the confusion, one of the Eclipse Grunts takes Queran's blade from the stadium as Xenophon gets up)

Queran: Hey, my blade!
(Queran tries to grab back his Beyblade, but is pushed back by the other Grunt)

Grunt 2: Tough luck, kid. Just deal with it.

(Queran gets up, and begins to walk away with a forlorn look on his face, but Xenophon grabs his arm)
Xenophon: So, you're just giving up?

Queran: *Nods* There's nothing I can do, is there?

Xenophon: nothing you can do, but there's something I can do.

(Queran turns to face Xenophon with a scared look on his face)
Queran: No! Don't challenge them! If you lose, you'll also lose your blade!

(Xenophon pats Queran on the shoulder, smiling reassuringly)
Xenophon: I got this. Hey! I got a deal for you guys.

(The Grunts look at Xenophon, smirking)
Grunt 1: Hah! What kinda deal? A kid like you ain't got nothin' to give to us!

Xenophon: I got a battle challenge. If I win in a bey battle with you guys, you've got to give back Queran's bey. If I lose, well...

Grunt 1: We get your Beyblade! Seems fair enough.

Queran: *Muttering* As if these guys know what the word 'fair' means...

Grunt 2: So, because you've challenged us, Eclipse BeyGang bladers to a bey battle, we have our own set of rules. The battle is set in Burst Mode, no rematches, we both battle you, and we get your blade if you lose. Kapish?

Xenophon: Gotcha.

Queran: *Frowning* Are you sure, Xeno?

Xenophon: As sure as I'll ever be!

Grunt 1: C'mon, we don't got all day here! Let's go!

Xenophon: Yeah, yeah...

(Xenophon pulls out his blade)
Xenophon: This'll be the blade I'm battling with. Its name is Xanthus. Got any problem with that?

Grunt 1: *sniggers* You're asking if we've got problems? It looks pretty weak anyways.
(Xenophon and the two Grunts prepare for battle)

Grunt 2: Well, then. Ready, set...
Xenophon/Grunts: 3, 2, 1, Go... SHOOT!
(All three Beyblades land in the stadium, Grunt 1 and Xenophon's Beyblades are going around the stadium, while Grunt 2 claims the center)

Grunt 1: Alrighty, pulverize this little twerp!
(Grunt 1's Beyblade heads at Xanthus, but misses, and hits Grunt 2's Beyblade)

Grunt 2 Huh?! Why're you attacking me?!
Xenophon: An opening! Get them, Xanthus!
(Xanthus heads down the stadium, and does a mini flower pattern/barrage on the two beys, which destabilizes Grunt 1's Beyblade)

Grunt 1:  No way! C'mon you dumb blade, balance yourself out!

Xenophon: Not a chance! Hit them again!
(Xanthus slams into Grunt 2's Beyblade, and utilizing the rebounding recoil from that attack, hits Grunt 1's Beyblade, bursting it instantly, then rebounding back to Grunt 2's Beyblade, bursting it as well)

Grunt 1/2: *shocked* No way!

Xenophon: Now. Hand over my friend's blade.
(Grunt 1 gives Queran's Beyblade back to Xenophon, who gives it to Queran)

Grunt 1: We won't forget this! Our Boss'll set you guys straight!
(The Grunts begin running away, clutching their Beyblades)

Queran: And Xeno'll be ready for that guy too!

Xenophon: Uh. I wouldn't be too sure of that, to be honest.

(Queran suddenly looks at his watch, and goes wide-eyed in despair)
Queran: Oh, boy we are really in trouble now. School started 15 minutes ago! We've got to get moving!

Xenophon: GAH! Let's go then! Mom'll be madder than ever...

(The two of them frantically run up the hill, across the bridge, and we fade to black.)


Location: Eclipse BeyGang's Base of Operations (Essentially an abandoned warehouse)


(Grunts 1 and 2 are seen kneeling on the concrete floor of the warehouse, in front of a menacingly constructed bey stadium)

Grunt 1: He beat us really good, Boss! We couldn't even put up a fight against him!

Grunt 2: Yeah, please, you can't do this to us!

(A silhouette of a strange figure is seen in the shadows, and two piercingly red eyes seem to shine from the darkness)
???: You guys are telling me what I can and can't do? Heh. It's like you're just begging for your blades to be destroyed!

(The two Grunts inch backward away from the stadium, terrified. Four other figures from the darkness approach them and restrain them while they take their Beyblades from them.)
Grunt 2: Please, spare our blades! Please!

(Two of the other figures who took the Beyblades launch them into the bey stadium, and slowly, the floor of the stadium opens, revealing a pit of molten steel)
Grunt 1/2: No!

(The Beyblades in the stadium try to stay away from their impending doom, but they end up hitting spikes on the entire perimeter of the stadium, and are flung into the pit, feeding the pit more metal)

???: There is no mercy in Eclipse. Only the powerful shall prevail in the world of Beyblade. There is no room for the weak. Remove these two from my sight.
(The bright red eyes flash again, and the two Grunts are pulled into the darkness, yelling and begging. A hooded figure walks up to the "boss" within the shadows)

???: They called the boy who defeated them, Xenophon. Bring him to me, Paine, and do everything in your power to bring him here to me. We may have some use for him here at Eclipse.

(The figure that the "Boss" called Paine bows deeply to him and jumps away through a skylight in the ceiling.)

(All three Beyblades land in the stadium, Grunt 1 and Xenophon's Beyblades are going around the stadium, while Grunt 2 claims the center)

Grunt 1: Alrighty, pulverize this little twerp!
(Grunt 1's Beyblade heads at Xanthus, but misses, and hits Grunt 2's Beyblade)

Grunt 2 Huh?! Why're you attacking me?!
Xenophon: An opening! Get them, Xanthus!
(Xanthus heads down the stadium, and does a mini flower pattern/barrage on the two beys, which destabilizes Grunt 1's Beyblade)

Grunt 1:  No way! C'mon you dumb blade, balance yourself out!

Xenophon: Not a chance! Hit them again!
(Xanthus slams into Grunt 2's Beyblade, and utilizing the rebounding recoil from that attack, hits Grunt 1's Beyblade, bursting it instantly, then rebounding back to Grunt 2's Beyblade, bursting it as well)

Grunt 1/2: *shocked* No way!

Xenophon: Now. Hand over my friend's blade.
(Grunt 1 gives Queran's Beyblade back to Xenophon, who gives it to Queran)

Grunt 1: We won't forget this! Our Boss'll set you guys straight!
(The Grunts begin running away, clutching their Beyblades)

Queran: And Xeno'll be ready for that guy too!

Xenophon: Uh. I wouldn't be too sure of that, to be honest.

(Queran suddenly looks at his watch, and goes wide-eyed in despair)
Queran: Oh, boy we are really in trouble now. School started 15 minutes ago! We've got to get moving!

Xenophon: GAH! Let's go then! Mom'll be madder than ever...

(The two of them frantically run up the hill, across the bridge, and we fade to black.)


Location: Eclipse BeyGang's Base of Operations (Essentially an abandoned warehouse)


(Grunts 1 and 2 are seen kneeling on the concrete floor of the warehouse, in front of a menacingly constructed bey stadium)

Grunt 1: He beat us really good, Boss! We couldn't even put up a fight against him!

Grunt 2: Yeah, please, you can't do this to us!

(A silhouette of a strange figure is seen in the shadows, and two piercingly red eyes seem to shine from the darkness)
???: You guys are telling me what I can and can't do? Heh. It's like you're just begging for your blades to be destroyed!

(The two Grunts inch backward away from the stadium, terrified. Four other figures from the darkness approach them and restrain them while they take their Beyblades from them.)
Grunt 2: Please, spare our blades! Please!

(Two of the other figures who took the Beyblades launch them into the bey stadium, and slowly, the floor of the stadium opens, revealing a pit of molten steel)
Grunt 1/2: No!

(The Beyblades in the stadium try to stay away from their impending doom, but they end up hitting spikes on the entire perimeter of the stadium, and are flung into the pit, feeding the pit more metal)

???: There is no mercy in Eclipse. Only the powerful shall prevail in the world of Beyblade. There is no room for the weak. Remove these two from my sight.
(The bright red eyes flash again, and the two Grunts are pulled into the darkness, yelling and begging. A hooded figure walks up to the "boss" within the shadows)

???: They called the boy who defeated them, Xenophon. Bring him to me, Paine, and do everything in your power to bring him here to me. We may have some use for him here at Eclipse.

(The figure that the "Boss" called Paine bows deeply to him and jumps away through a skylight in the ceiling.)

Sorry for lack of updating. Chapter two's plot has been written, but I have yet to make the chapter, as I don't have access to my PC at the moment. Hoping to get it out (hopefully) soon.

Neva' Give Up, Neva' Surrender

Been experimenting with creating some Lego Beyblades, and I've made some pretty interesting gimmicks, which I will definitely put into B MB.

Also made some minor System adjustments that have been implemented into the System Overview:

NA's: Nano Armors are the middle of the Beyblade, and are adjustable in size, to make the Beyblade short, or tall. (Not unlike a Metal Fight Spin Track) They also contain the two metal nubs on the Burst Cap to make contact with the MB Layer's metal teeth, plus a spring for burst resistance. There are also fused metal prongs to make the bursting gimmick possible. (Not unlike a Burst Forge Disk) <-- (New)

So far, there are two Systems for the Metal Burst System. The Fused Layer System, and the Dual Hybrid Layer System.  The Fused Layer System is where the MB Blade, MB Layer, and MB Cd's, or MB Core Drives are completely fused together. This is the primary system, and not much customization can be done. (Is the size of a God Burst Beyblade) <-- (New as well)

The Dual Hybrid Layer System is the successor to the Fused Layer System, and the MB Blade, MB Layer, and MB Cd's, or MB Core Drives are completely separate and unique pieces of the Layer, creating far more customizability. (Is the size of a Cho-Z subsystem Beyblade, like Cho-Z Valkyrie) <-- (Also new)

Been an entire month since the last post! Here's the very long awaited second chapter!!!

Chapter 2: Queran's gone?! The Crimson Evil-Eye!

(Xenophon is seen sleeping in his room. His alarm clock rings, and he jumps out of his bed to turn it off.)
Xeno: Okay, Okay, I'm awake already.. I swear that thing's going to give me an actual heart attack some day...

(Xeno gets out of bed, and looks at his alarm clock groggily, until he realises that the time is 30 minutes past the time he's usually supposed to be at school.)
Xeno: I overslept! I'm going to be late again!

(A few minutes later, Xeno is dressed for school, and heads for the front door. Xeno's Mother notices him from their dining table)
Xeno's Mother: Going already, Xeno, without breakfast?

Xeno:(exasperated) Mom, it's way past my wake-up time! I gotta get going!
(Xeno's Mother sighs)
Xeno's Mother: Of course, though I do wish you'd wake up on time these days... Missing breakfast isn't healthy for a growing boy-

Xeno: Uh, yeah- Love you, mom!
(Xeno rushes out the door, leaving his mother shaking her head)

Xeno's Mother: I hope he doesn't turn out like his brother...


(Xeno is later seen sprinting down a road, and is close to his school)
Xeno: Almost there! I didn't see Queran on my way here, so I guess he made it to school safely.

(Xeno makes his way to the school yard, and is about to enter the school, when a kunai with a piece of paper attached to it is thrown in front of him, making him jump back with fear.)
Xeno: Gah! What's going on here?!

(Xeno looks up, and notices a cloaked figure quickly withdraw from the top of a nearby building)
Xeno: Hey, you up there! Throwing ninja weapons at people isn't funny!

(The hooded figure swiftly makes its escape, jumping from rooftop to rooftop, and is out of sight within seconds, leaving Xeno bewildered and angry. Xeno then picks up the kunai, and notices the strange paper attached to it)
Xeno: (To himself) What's this...? There's something written on it.

(After a few seconds, Xeno finished to read the note, and is badly surprised)
Xeno: Taken?! Queran was kidnapped?!

(Some kids put their heads outside of the windows above him, curious to hear who was yelling)
???: What is it, Xenophon? Have you lost your blade again...

(Xeno looks up, and looks slightly irritated once he recognizes the speaker)
Xeno: Oh, it's you again, Chika. It's not about Xanthus this time!

Chika: Then what?
Xeno: Queran's been kidnapped by some Team Eclipse BeyGang guys, and I don't know what to do! There are even directions on where he's at!
(Chika stares at him in disbelief, then she frowns, and looks at him as if he was the dumbest thing on the face of the earth)

Chika: Either call the police, or take care of it yourself, since they're a BeyGang! You do have a blade to do that, right? Or was this really about you losing it again...

Xeno: Fine, I'll get Queran myself. Then we'll see if you're still going to tease me!

(Xeno turns away from the school, and heads down the road, leaving a trail of dust behind him)
Chika: (Sighs) What a kid.


(Location: Outside of an abandoned Warehouse)

(Xeno appears winded, after racing to the port, which was where the warehouses were at)
Xeno: I'm... finally... here...

(Xeno's stomach grumbles, and he grimaces to himself)
Xeno: So hungry... But I've gotta... save Queran...

(Xeno opens the warehouse that the letter told him to enter, and reluctantly enters its darkened insides)
Xeno: This place is super creepy... And weirdly warm for some reason... Hello? Is anybody here? I got your letter!

(Before he could react, the doors close behind Xeno, and he jumps to face the doors)
Xeno: Okay, this isn't funny! Let Queran go, or else-

???: Or else what, kid?
(Xeno turns in the voice's direction, and notices a pair of crimson eyes flash at him from the depths, with a stare so cold it sends chills up and down his spine)

Xeno: W- who are you?
(Suddenly, the lights flicker open, blinding Xeno for a moment, as a person swoops down from the ceiling, landing not far from Xeno)

???: I'm Dai Geno, the leader of the Eclipse BeyGang. I'm glad to see you've accepted my request.

Xeno: Request? What request, just give me back my friend!

Dai: There's no need to be in a hurry, Xenophon... Gatsuo.

Xeno: How do you know my name?

(Dai Gendo points to his left, where we see Queran being held hostage by two other BeyGang Grunts)
Dai: I've been having a nice chat with your little friend there. He tells me you're quite the blader.

Xeno: (gasps) Queran!

Queran: Xeno, don't-

(Xeno rushes forward, in hopes of saving Queran, but is stopped by another person, the hooded figure from before)
Dai: Like I said Xenophon, there's no hurry.

Xeno: What do you want from us?!

(Dai shrugs, then smiles with an unsettling calm)
Dai: It's simple, I only want you to join Eclipse. Then erm... Queran will be free to go.

Xeno: Join you? I don't even want to be anywhere near you!

(The hooded figure advances towards Xeno, but Dai looks at him sharply, which stops him)
Dai: Paine.

(The figure who he called Paine retreats away from Xeno, and Dai looks back at Xeno with the same piercing stare)
Dai: That's too bad. I was hoping we could become "friends". It looks like we'll be keeping Queran then...?

Xeno: Wait! Okay I'll join you, but only if you win in a bey battle against me. If you win, I- I'll join Eclipse, but if I do, you have to leave Queran and I alone.

Queran: (Wide eyed) No way...

(Paine appears to be agitated (as much as a hooded figure could look to be), but Dai appears expressionless for a few seconds)
Dai: Interesting. Fine, I'll accept your challenge. It'll probably do well to check your strength before you join, after all.

Xeno: So, where's the stadium we'll be battling in?
(Dai walks over to a button console hanging overhead, and presses one of the buttons on it. They all hear a strange sound coming from above, and notice a large stadium being placed not too far from Dai and Xeno)

Dai: Well then, let's get on with it.

(Xeno and Dai walk up to the stadium, and Xeno notices the temperature getting higher as he approaches)

Xeno: (To himself) Is it getting hotter in here or is it just me?

(Once they step up to the stadium, Xeno gets a better view of the insides of the stadium. When he notices the spikes, he gasps)
Dai: This is it. The Molten Spike Stadium. Like it?

Xeno: Uh, what do you mean by molten?

Dai: You'll find out soon enough.

Xeno: Fine...

(Xeno begins to put Xanthus on Burst Mode, but Dai stops him)
Dai: Contrary to this BeyGang tradition rules, this Battle'll be done with Metal Mode. I'd suggest you keep it on that mode unless you want to say goodbye to your blade as soon as the battle gets started...

(Xeno is clearly surprised, but puts Xanthus back in Metal Mode, puzzled)
Dai: Show me what you can do.

(Dai's eyes briefly glow Crimson once more, and Xeno appears as if turned to stone)

Xeno: (In his mind) What's with this guy?! He's not like anyone else I've faced in the past... I'm not sure that I'll be able to beat him, even if I tried my best!
(Xanthus glows a dull green briefly in Xeno's hand, and he begins to feel relieved, then the glow disappears as soon as Xeno looks at Xanthus)

Xeno: Weird... Must've been a trick of the lights...
(Dai's eyes widen, then narrow, as he saw the green glow, but he shrugs it off as Xeno attaches his blade to his launcher)

Xeno: Okay, I'm ready.

Dai: Let's go.

Dai/Xeno: 3, 2, 1, Go...
(Dai jumps up into the air, and flips once before launching, catching Xeno off-guard)

Dai/Xeno: SHOOT!
(Xanthus and Dai's blade land in the stadium, and Dai's blade circles the center, trying to take it, while Xanthus swiftly goes around the stadium, closer to the stadium's ridge)

Dai: (sneers) An attack type, huh. Typical.

Xeno: We'll show you typical! C'mon, Xanthus!

(Xanthus heads down towards Dai's blade, and they collide, sending sparks flying. Then Xanthus goes flying, as Dai's blade remains undisturbed, calmly circling around)

Xeno: W-what?!

Dai:(Sighs) That's all you've got? Looks like I misjudged you, Xenophon.

(Xanthus hits the spikes, hard. It loses some of its spin, and once it lands, goes around the stadium lower than it had when Xeno first launched.)
Xeno: Xanthus, no!

Dai: I don't have time to waste on you anymore, Xenophon. End this quickly, Deucalion!
(Dai's blade, Deucalion, tilts on its tip, and aims for Xanthus. Once they touch, Deucalion begins to slowly press Xanthus into the spikes lining the stadium walls)

Dai: Well, this is it. You should've said you were so weak before this.

(Xeno's eyes go wide, and he begins to fear for his blade)

Xeno: (Thoughts) Oh no, Xanthus! I- if I don't do something, it's going to be... destroyed!

End

Went with a different writing style this time, and it's longer. Has a bit of a cliffhanger as well (totally not because I rushed it, heh heh)

I've been working on the major plot points for the rest of season one of BMB, and season two. Hopefully, this'll make BMB season one easier to finish off, as I don't have to keep remembering what the plot's gonna be for the rest of the season. However, I will say, that if season one is completely finished (40-50 episodes), season two is confirmed to be coming.

Season two'll be called Beyblade Metal Burst: Project D, and it'll have more fantasy than season one.

I like your writing style, and I don't think there is much difference between the two, only how certain stuff is grouped.
Xeno simply forgetting he has school is understandable, but I'm very surprised someone actually got kidnapped. They even got qualified ninja equipment, which surprises me.
