Are you okay? Because if you were you would know this is the start of a new gen so the beys would be simple at the start and smaller beys would actually make the battles more exciting. The whole idea that the beys are like sling shock or hyper sphere should be obvious and I doubt the ratchet will even wear and even if it did burst teeth wore as well. Honestly I think this new gen system is pretty cool and it’s gonna get upgraded as time goes on. “The beys all look the same”. Well guess what most MFB beys looked the same so I recommend you stop complaining and being a kiss*ss. The stuff your complaining about in the first place is extremely stupid. Obviously the beys would be small like every gen (Wow!) literally anyone who uses their common sense would know that. It seems like your just a hater who is stuck in the past and can’t move on. If you are just gonna come back on this site to hate X and not give actual good criticism then you probably shouldn’t even come back on this site. Yeah, I think all of my points are still valid. I understand they will evolve and develop over time. I didn’t say anything about wear on the ratchets, I was talking about the gear gimmick, which you didn’t even really reply to. The launcher are like Beyloggers and burst launchers. The beys have metal but they are small so I would assume somewhere around maybe around 30? I may be completely wrong but hey I can guess?

They are mostly plastic with a thin metal plating on top. Probably not super heavy. They have a string launcher, there are pictures of it, it’s only available with the stadium set. The launchers that come with the starter kits are just light launchers like the burst light launchers with the winder. They also have the Battle Pass which is like a Beylogger kind of attachment for the launcher.

I definitely think the launcher improvements are cool. They definitely should have used bearings in all of the launchers for burst. The new string launcher also looks more compact, which I think is great. My issue is more with the beys and the stadium.

I thought this could be fun for Beyblade stuff that doesn't really deserve its own thread but isn't a question.

I don't think I'm going to use either of my Aries ... they're just too valuable. I will probably sell them and rebuy them when Hasbro inevitably releases them for $8. Pisces value seems to be rising as well.

Probably just to make it proprietary, so they don’t have people using burst or MFB launchers on them, which means that people have to actually buy BBX launchers, which leads to more revenue.

BEY YEAR IN REVIEW 2023 SO FAR:

Since we are know halfway through 2023 it’s time to review the bey year so far.

When it comes to hasbro…. products wise there hasn’t been a lot at all and even the little stuff that was released was mid.
But hasbro did officially release the Quadstrike anime which my thoughts have been wishy washy (I don’t know what the hell that means). While the season definitely has better character interaction and some interesting things going on with Pax for the most part it’s the same thing every episode… Bell and Quadra vs the legends. And for a season that seemingly isn’t marketing itself like Sparking where it’s our main protagonists vs the legends the season honestly had become kinda boring. Of course things might get more interesting but we have to wait and see.

TT wise definitely a lot more has gone on…
Burst is pretty much over for TT which isn’t surprising. The big thing is that now the 4th gen was revealed to be Beyblade X. Even though I’ve seen a lot of mixed reactions I really like the idea of Beyblade X. First of all there bringing back metal contact points so that’s a huge W. Second, even though I do have a few worries that the stadium will make stamina and defense types this gen kind of suck I still like the general design and that they actually got creative here. The high speed battles make Beyblade a lot more fun again since it’s been a while I’ve had that feeling. Now I’ll admit the design of the beys are no where near as colorful and vibrant as burst and are very simple but then again it’s a new gen so it makes since to be simple. System wise the ratchets are oddly very similar to chassis and the bits are very similar expect for the tips. Dran Sword has a flat tip so that’s neat while Hell Scythe has a Tapered  tip that seems to me pretty good. Then Wizard Arrow has a Ball tip which for a stamina type is interesting… and finally Knight Shield with a Needle tip. So yeah Beyblade X won’t be perfect (nothing is perfect) but it still looks like a promising new direction for Beyblade which is what we all desperately need.

Overall this year has been much more eventful compared to last year so excited to see what the rest of 2023 brings!

I took a trip away from home for a few days and when I got back to Tokyo today my BBX stuff was waiting in front of the door for me. I picked up all of the starters and boosters but unfortunately there were some delays so not everything came in today. I got the stadium, BX-03, BX-04, Dranzer, grip and battle pass today. The boosters were delayed but will be here within the next few days. BX-01 and BX-02 didn't come at all and I got an email from Amazon saying that they don't know when it will be available, but I found that Toys R Us had them in stock so I put in an order and cancelled my Amazon order. Everything that came on time was from Takara Tomy Mall and Toys R Us. I'm really disappointed in Amazon right now.

But on the bright side, I had two starters and a booster so me and my son were able to try out BBX today. It was a lot of fun. I'm excited to get the other two starters so that we can try out an attack type. Even with a stamina and defense type, these battles were very interesting. I'm excited to see how the other two perform.

In a few weeks I'll start keeping an eye out for events. If they're going through with the whole Gear Sports thing, I'm absolutely going to try to compete

What gimmicks would you give the Pandora’s if they were Takara Tomy beys?
