Bakuten Shoot Beyblade Subbed on BeyUK's YouTube Channel

There are big plans with subbing the classic Beyblade series, and a full-fledged accurate translation is what you guys will get. The Unofficial Bakuten Shoot Beyblade Channel will release 2 episodes per week starting with episode 40. All the older episodes (1-39) will be released at a later date.

Also, if this goes smoothly, Beyblade Burst subtitled will release about 1 week after raw is out. I'm paying Siliva2 good money to sub these ($25 per episode). If anyone is willing to help donate, let him or me know.

The staff are as follows:

Siliva (Translator/Timer)
SquareAnon (Translator/Timer)
DranzerX13 / Kai-V (Quality Checker)

EDIT: Now that Squaresubs is helping my group, things will pick up faster. Not just that but since SauareAnon is working on season 1,  Siliva is doing season 2.
It would be great if you could add a link to the channel. This is pretty exciting Smile.
I will as soon as I turn the videos from private to public. Having someone doing quality checking.
Awesome news! Why are you starting with the end of the series, though?
Yeah, I have the same question, haha. Is there any particular reason why? Perhaps lack of episode scripts?

Sounds pretty cool though. Is Siliva just doing MFB, or doing Burst as well? I had planned to look into doing Burst myself, haha.
Well, the beginning of the series is not much in demand. Lots of fans want to see the Russian Tournament arc, especially Black Dranzer. That, and the beginning (at least IMHO) is so-so. I didn't seriously get into Beyblade until the final 12 episodes of the first season.
Couldn't disagree more (not that I dislike the final arc, but that I love the first arc of the series).
I agree with Brad, though with as many subbing projects have come and gone over the years, they all kind of start at the beginning and... never really get that far. With the last arc being somewhat of a fan-favorite, it's kind of one way to get eyes on the project. Then again, any translations for Bakuten Shoot are better than none. After growing up and hoping that one day the series would be properly translated, so it's funny that after all this time I learned Japanese and my love for Beyblade never waned!

I hope everyone enjoys the work I put into it! I'll be sure to bring up translation notes and any sort of points of interest that I noticed were absent in the dub.

I'm not doing MFB, at least not as far as I know. Not that I'd be wholly against it, though doing Bakuten Shoot and Burst will probably eat up my schedule as it is.
No need to do MFBB, it got good treatment by Nelvana. The original Beyblade, and Burst should be good enough.
Whoops, I wrote MFB rather than BSB. Didn't mean to do that, my bad, haha.
I cannot express my happiness right now... thank you so much!! ;w; can't wait to watch again! XD i'm really excited for Burst as well.
I'm hoping we can set up a donation page for Siliva. I don't mind paying him, but I wish others would contribute too.
Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum and the first thing i wanna say is THANK YOU!
Finally somebody is going to subb this awesome show.
I looked over the whole internet and asked so many fansub groups to translate this show
but nobody wanted to do it.
I have seen the few subbed episodes from Siliva on youtube this was great work there i hope you will do the next episodes just like this ones.
DranzerX13 thank you for the episodes you uploaded in Raw i tried to translate it myself but even after many years of watching subbed animes i just can understand a few words
and there i was thinking YESSSS i can understand japanese ha ha ha!
I hope this project will be finished with all the 3 Seasons of Bakuten Shoot Beyblade.
Last thing i wanna say is DranzerX13 i would gladly donate something to Sillvia for her work, just leave me a message how i should donate.

(If Something is not understandable i apologize cause i'm from GermanyXD)
PM Siliva for more info. Donations are through PayPal.
I'll personally be holding out on watching until you go back and do the first 39 episodes but I can't wait to see it. I'm glad to see you guys are picking this up.

Maybe you could do MFB someday if there's ever enough demand. The dub was good in terms of changes, but those voices are horrendous haha.
Waiting for Episode 41 like I'm waiting for next Saturday, heh.
I feel like a kid again. Thanks.
Impressive and ambitious. Best of luck!
Nice this is the best way, one episode from beginnning and one from the last arc.
Besides episodes 6 was already subbed onces by Siliva, it's named:
Beyblade _ Season One _ Episode 6 [English Sub] [Full].
Can you edit it to the YouTube Channel DranzerX13?
Oh I was not even aware that episode forty was already public hahah. I sent some notes to DranzerX13, but I do not know what he will do about them. I just wanted to correct that the sign actually says Volki Monastery, not Balkov or Volkov Abbey.
Siliva says it says Volkov Monastery. I meant to change it from abbey to monastery, but forgot to. However, during the audio dialogue, abbey sounds better in English. Will correct it in the direct download version when I post it on Friday. Download will be available 1 week after stream.

Kai GRevolution, nope, bluesun found some stuff off on ep6 translation, so I will upload it on said date.

Hm, I know Russian letters and can mostly read the phonetics, so unless there is a grammatical annexion rule where the ending of a name becomes 'i' just to indicate possession but actually gets pronounced 'off', then no, that does read litterally 'volki monastir'. If it was Volkov, it would have ended as "овы" or "ов", not и, i.
I wikipedia'd my way to the translation, so I'd trust Kai-V's judgement over mine, just sayin'. I know zero Russian.
The и in волки is the nominative plural declension of волк (and actually a ы morphed by the к), which means wolf. It reads, as Kai-V said, 'Volki'. The genitive plural, interestingly, would actually be волков--'volkov'--but would have to be placed after Монастырь (nominative singular) to mean that it was the Wolves' Monastery. Волков as a name would have a different declension of which the nominative plural would indeed be -ы as Kai-V stated.

As it stands, it is Wolves Monastery, but as far as I know--and I arguably know very little--it doesn't really mean anything, as I don't know of two nominatives stacking together that way.

As for -ov/-off, voiced consonants in the final position tend to become unvoiced in Russian (v sounds like f, d like t, etc.). Therefore, 'Zangief' in your subtitles is most likely 'Zangiev'.
Ah, declensions. That was very interesting though, thank you for the information and the confirmation.
