The placements of each gear should be relatively self-explanatory, the gears really only fit together one way, and two sets of gears are separated in the middle by the black divider piece you have sitting to the left. I will explain the exact order of each gear.
-Take the top section of the EG and place it sitting upside down as it is in your photo
-Take the smallest gear (second from the left) and place it into the largest hole in the top section of the EG
-Place the divider (far left) and place it over that gear, it connects to the two small pins and should be covering the small gear you just placed
-Take the first gear from the left and place that into the smallest cutout of the divider, the divider has a cutout that fits two gears
-The last gear from the left fits next to the other in the cutout of the divider
-Take the remaining gear (third from the left) and place it into the hole on top of the divider, so that the long side of the gear slots into it
After this you should be able to place the bottom section of the EG down onto the gears, be sure to line it up correctly with the three pinholes that line up with the three gears.
