Hasbro launcher with Hasbro ripcord, Takara-Tomy launcher with Takara-Tomy ripcord. Because the Light Launcher 2 fits a different ripcord type only.
Oh yeah I know that what I was reffering to is that takara tomy light launcher 1's have longer ripcords that fit hasbro light launchers.

Oh ok, same as Ryuujin EX, I was using hasbro ripcords too. Joyful_2

RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Masters/Metal Fury/Shogun Steel [HOBBY] - th!nk - Jan. 08, 2013

Ryuujin EX's results are a matter of not launching the LL2 at full strength because he has a faulty one (extremely common). The gear ratio alone guarantees it is stronger than an LL1 (which again, is what hasbro launchers are), and the teeth on the ripcord are spaced the same etc etc, though the resistance from its design slows it down slightly dependant on the users strength. Launcher Power differences are much more noticeable with launchers modified with plastic prongs - where LL1's, both hasbro and takara, are clearly nowhere near as strong as LL2's, which are clearly nowhere near as strong as string launchers, which only approach the power of regular plastic launchers if used extremely well.

I'll take an LL1, a Hasbro Light Launcher, and an LL2 apart in a little and do gear counts and post pictures. Tests can be interfered with by subconscious biases, gear counts are, skipping and gimmicks aside, an objective measure of launcher strength (fewer teeth = stronger, though this puts more stress on the design).
Once I've done that, I expect the argument to be dropped as it should already have been by now.

Of course, neither of these launchers even approach a well-used string launcher, so it really is quite irrelevant.

I do not remember seeing this information lately, but the Spark FX Beyblades are now in Canada. In particular, there were Death Quetzalcoatl, Wing Pegasis and L-Drago Guardian. No real "Hyperblades" yet though.

RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Masters/Metal Fury/Shogun Steel [HOBBY] - Raigeko13 - Jan. 08, 2013

If one's there, they're all there. Just not in the store(s) you visited.

EDIT: By that, I mean Spark FX... Not necessarily Hyperblades as well, sorry for the vague statement.

Those Hasbro launcher test are very interesting. I never expected that they would get such positive results against an LL2.

Yeah, I saw these myself just before the new year. I can't get over how ugly the green Proto Nemesis is. Speechless

Finally, someone who agrees with me! Or has the same opinion as I do.

Anyways, I have not seen any of the New Hyperblades, Spark FX, nor the regular Metal Fury releases yet (excluding the Destroyer Dome Set and VariAres Dome Track Set) .. So sad.

Yup, Hyper-Strike Battle Set. Good luck finding a Hyperblade at Wal-Mart though... those things (and the Metal Fury SparkFX Beys) fly off their shelves too quickly. A regular shopper is more likely to go to a store like Wal-Mart or Target and buy everything they need than go to a premium toy store like TRU. But yeah, the Hyper-Strike Battle Set started popping up in my local TRUs back in late December and the SparkFX products (sans the Hyperblades) have started to appear this month. Hopefully, other stores will start stocking and selling them soon, especially since the holiday season is officially over.

Edit: Toys R Us added the SparkFX Beys to their site for those who are interested.

I can definitely agree with that too, hah.

Looks like I won't have to worry about the Green Proto Nemesis selling out in my area haha

RE: General Hasbro BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Masters/Metal Fury/Shogun Steel [HOBBY] - GladiatorGaruda - Jan. 11, 2013

Has anyone been experiencing problems with their Hasbro Twisted Tempo launcher? Mine came broken out of the box when I got it back in the summer. The harder I launch, the weaker the beyblade spins, and the weaker I launch the better the beyblade spins, where in this case better means about a quarter as good as a full power launcher. Theres so many problems with ripcord launchers in my opinion, however I doubt Hasbro would switch over to the LL2 because they already used the same string and a similar launcher for BeyWheelz. The people who buy Beyblades in the US (the kids) who also bought BeyWheelz would complain saying that the LL2 is a BeyWheelz launcher when it is completely the contrary.
*Note that all of this is just my opinion except for the last sentence.

I have the same problem too, Have 6 of them, and 5 of them are faulty like that out-of-the-box. >.<

EDIT: This question may have been better in the Ask a Question, get an answer thread.

I rarely find any. I've only seen 4 actual Hyperblades, a Cosmic Pegasus, 2 Kreis Cygnus', and an Omega Dragonis. Couldn't grab the Cosmic at the time, although the Hyper Strike Battle Set (which I've only seen 4 of) solved that, and LDD.

Gladiator Garuda & Infie
Hasbro launchers have a history of being made poorly, it is a common thing.
