Retro Pokémon - Pikachao - Jan. 10, 2010

Apparently we're allowed to link our sites now as creations? Well in case you haven't clicked my signature out of interest...

I'll link mine here: http://www.retropokemon.com/

I won't dwell too much on it but we pretty much aim to provide a community focused around the first two generations of the Pokémon series (i.e. Red Blue Yellow, Gold Silver Crystal).

Questions often arise on why I'm so interested in Gen I & II. I think it mostly stems from nostalgia, enjoyment of the long battles from the old metagame in Gen II and love of the old Pokémons' design. Smile

Pichu was introduced in gen II first released in 1999, a time when computer screens around the world looked like THIS at best. I'd say that's old enough to be retro. We consider gen I and II retro as I said above. Smile

Thanks. Grin

I'll have to check this out one day. Hoenn had such weird use of color, i'd say it wouldn't be so weird if they didn't use watercolor and sticked to the colors seen in the first 2 generations. Shinnoh had some plain weird designs.

Though the first 2 gens are a bit before my time, i'll have to check this out.

EDIT: Epicness. Registering.
