39. Clash! Phoenix VS Pegasis
激突！不死鳥(フェニックス)VS天馬(ペガシス)
gekitotsu! fushichou (fenikkusu) VS tenba (pegashisu)

すご腕ベイブレーダー、フェニックスと一戦交える銀河だが、序盤からペガシスの動きを封じられ、防戦一方となってしまう。それでも反撃を試みる銀河に、懸命に声援を送るケンタたち。だが、動きの鈍ったペガシスにフェニックスのベイブレード、バーンフェニックスの必殺転技が炸裂(さくれつ)し、スタジアムは炎に包まれる。銀河の敗北を確信するケンタたちだが、銀河は、必殺転技をしのぎ逆襲に転じる

Note: There will be no Metal Fight Beyblade episode on 2010/01/03. Episode 40 will be on the Sunday after that.

This season/series. I don't know if another one has been confirmed yet, but I would be surprised if there wasn't a second series. However, they do need to wrap this plot up.

I agree, it was definitely too soon. Anyway, I'm not completely convinced Phoenix is Ryuusei (how did he talk to Ryuusei's ghost if Ryuusei is alive [probably just his memories]), but if he is they need to reveal it quite soon.

he may be hallucinating, but nobody breaks beyblades in this season even ryuuga who is badass cant break one (maybe because they are metal and there blades are weak lol) but just some thoughts

no it just makes the end of a battle more dramatic and makes villains seem so much more sinister

Not really.

Ryuuga is plenty sinister, but he didn't break any blades.

well he has that odd ability to be naturally sinister without really doing much sinister, really the things he did after waking up was fly around in a helicopter and win some beybattles and no one got seriously hurt, even though he did kill ryuusei or maybe not taking in to mind who phoenix might be.

I'd actually be surprised if there wasn't a second season. Be odd since they're going for an international release so soon.

In the manga isnt' phoenix ginga's dad? Also can't wait to see this episode to see how ginga wins cause he got smoked(get it?) by phoenix last time they battled.

if they do make a 2nd season, i hope they don't change the beyblade system again.... itll be a pain to be like OH I JUST GOT MY BURN PHOENIX 135MS!! oh and now they come up with the new FUSION SYSTEM!! .-.;

It's quite likely they will change the system with each new season like in the plastic generation

but i wouldnt want htem to change it completely, seeing as how id like to still be able to use some parts of my mfbs in customizing.. and the plastic generation didnt change much, they just added things to it. but with MFB they changed the whole system making the whole plastic generation and HMS which just came out pretty much outdated.
