Yes, it is. See first point of Kai-V's rules. Wink

RE: Lord's Photography Contest - DRAGON KING - Jul. 24, 2014

Count me in. Can we do rounds though, where people get eliminated each round, like mine? I think it's more fun.

RE: Lord's Photography Contest - 6 God - Jul. 24, 2014

Is there going to be a theme?

RE: Lord's Photography Contest - кαмυι カムイ - Jul. 24, 2014

I was wondering if you could use customized beys? I might enter if you could do that...

RE: Lord's Photography Contest - DRAGON KING - Jul. 24, 2014

Also, you should post an editing rule. Like only cropping, focus and maybe lighting/auto inhance.

I already told Tri that I was doing Blocks so I don't think I can change it at this point.

Beyblade's the theme! Just take a pic of a Bey and make it look nice!

Yes any Genuine Beyblade, customized or not.

Yes I should add that as well. Thanks!

Also you don't have to post if your entering, because I'm not making a list of people entering. Only a list of people who have entered. PM your picture and then you are in the contest, not before.

RE: Lord's Photography Contest - Mitsu - Jul. 24, 2014

Count me in! I guess this would be a good way to test out the camera I just recently got.

Hope this comes out being successful, Lord. Smile

Thanks a lot!

Guys make sure to PM (not post) me your entries before the date, not just tell me you're entering, if you didn't know.

RE: Lord's Photography Contest - Cannon - Jul. 26, 2014

Just curious, but why is it that in every contest in the YC section, you need to PM the entries? That's so boring

RE: Lord's Photography Contest - Tri - Jul. 26, 2014

I was thinking the same thing. Let people get criticism! Just make a rule that they can not edit their post after posting it (which is easy to check if they did).

RE: Lord's Photography Contest - Angry Face - Jul. 26, 2014

Isn't the the point of private messaging contest entries to the host to keep the entrants anonymous and to reduce the chances of voter bias? In the case of a regular photography contest judged by the committee, voter bias shouldn't exist, so most participants just post their entries publicly. But in a contest where the winner is determined by a public poll, voter bias can definitely occur as the result a lack of participant anonymity.

At least if participants PM their entries to the host, there's no need to worry about possible post edits or unseen cheating when a mod or host is absent/offline. And if somebody were really keen on receiving feedback on his photo, then he could always post it after first PM'ing it to the host. Things stay simple and secure.

Ugh I have to use my iPads crappy camera, but no worries I will still join. Now what to do . . .

RE: Lord's Photography Contest - FeedFear - Aug. 01, 2014

Sorry to double post, but in my photo I enhanced, sharpened, and moved focus. Is this too much editing, or am I ok.
