RE: Battle Strikers Discussion - Hagane Ginga - Dec. 24, 2009

Hybrid, remote control cars sell for alot of money.

I think the aim is to sell decent strikers at an affordable price.

RE: Battle Strikers Discussion - Hybrid - Dec. 24, 2009

they sell a plastic stadium ( WhICH i regret buying) for 14.00. thats 1/4 the price of a bey stadium

RE: Battle Strikers Discussion - bey tempest - Dec. 24, 2009

its so irritating dude and gonna get me a sharkblade, how good are they?

RE: Battle Strikers Discussion - yusei fudo - Dec. 24, 2009

I am definetely going to get that metal xs dragonblaze. It looks awesome!

RE: Battle Strikers Discussion - Kei - Dec. 24, 2009

Guys, please try to stay on topic. I just deleted about 10 posts that had nothing to do with Battle Strikers.

Funny you mention this, and it's something I didn't touch on but I should have. With the new controller that slips on over one finger, you can really feel it a lot more. You can feel the "link" between you and your Striker and every hit really produces a feedback in your hand. It's super cool.

(Dec. 24, 2009  8:06 PM)Hybrid Wrote: not really. you're just pushing a plastic top powered by AA batteries with A MAGNET! I mean by remote like a car.

This is not an RC game. There's a lot of reasons NOT to do RC tops, mainly
  1. it's expensive
  2. it's complicated to engineer
  3. it does not work very well (the only way to move it is by moving the tip, which as we saw with RC Beyblades, does not work well)
  4. It's innacurate (in the current implementation, you just guide it with your fingertips ... how is RC easier than this?)

Why do you regret buying it?

Also, how is that 1/4 the price of a BeyStadium ...

System structure. The Striker shown is Sentinel.

Weapon: Obvious what this is. The main piece used during battle.
Core: Contains the magnet and is what every part attaches to.
Booster: The modifier part used to alter stamina, balance or control.
Tip: ... the tip.
Lock: The final part of the assembly that locks the Striker together.

RE: Battle Strikers Discussion - Crimson - Dec. 25, 2009

That is a seriously wicked looking Striker.
And it looks like a good solid structure.

The Booster sounds like it could have some pretty interesting variants.

RE: Battle Strikers Discussion - Hagane Ginga - Dec. 25, 2009

Awesome! I think the Booster might be compared to the track alot though

I'll be a bit candid for a moment and say that for Spring 2010 there are only three Boosters, and I don't think they were done as well as they could have been. They do affect the top's performance, but not as significantly as I would like. We're going back to the drawing board for Fall 2010 and have some very cool Boosters in the pipeline for that.

Really? A comparison to Support Parts seems more obvious to me LOL

Either way, there's only so many ways to implement that kind of function.

RE: Battle Strikers Discussion - yusei fudo - Dec. 25, 2009

That is a cool striker. And the structure seems strong. the booster does not seem to be able to affect the game much though............

RE: Battle Strikers Discussion - TheLVJ - Dec. 25, 2009

One thousand years ago, superstition and the sword ruled.
It was a time of darkness. It was a world of fear.
It was the age of gargoyles.
Stone by day, warriors by night,
we were betrayed by the humans we had sworn to protect,
frozen in stone by a magic spell for a thousand years.
Now, here in Manhattan, the spell is broken, AND WE LIVE AGAIN!
We are defenders of the night!
We are GARGOYLES!

Sentinel is looking really nice. Can we expect a stone weapon variant?! Eee (crosses fingers hopelessly)

Brownie points for anyone who caught that reference.

RE: Battle Strikers Discussion - Bey Brad - Dec. 25, 2009

We wanted to name it Gargoyle, but we couldn't because of that copyright Grin

Yusei Fudo, the Booster affects the performance in subtle ways, but not drastic ways. The stamina booster gave a 10-15 second spin time boost over the others, for example. Expect more diverse and effective boosters incoming Smile

Certainly doesn't affect the game any less than T125, DF145, D125, etc.

RE: Battle Strikers Discussion - Tempestas007 - Dec. 25, 2009

I really like Sentinel. Purple, Silver, and Black has always been a nice color scheme to me.

RE: Battle Strikers Discussion - Bey Brad - Dec. 25, 2009

I am surprised the Sentinel is getting so much love. I thought everyone would hate it Grin hahaha

RE: Battle Strikers Discussion - TheLVJ - Dec. 25, 2009

It's an odd design, but beneath its stone-cold exterior lies potential awesomeness. Nuff said.

RE: Battle Strikers Discussion - yusei fudo - Dec. 25, 2009

No, Sentinel looks amazing. Also, I can not wait to see what kind of awesome
ideas for some cool boosters you have, brad. I will look forward to it.

RE: Battle Strikers Discussion - Bey Brad - Dec. 25, 2009

I like the concept, but I would like it more if the gargoyle was more serious looking, like its StrikerSoul:

RE: Battle Strikers Discussion - To - Dec. 25, 2009

I have to say wow. I haven't been following Battle Strikers, but wow Sentinel is leaps and bounds better looking then anything I've seen and own from the first wave.

RE: Battle Strikers Discussion - TheLVJ - Dec. 25, 2009

Sentinel is officially my second favorite design, so far, behind Ninjutsu.

RE: Battle Strikers Discussion - yusei fudo - Dec. 25, 2009

Sentinel is my favorite striker soul along with dragonblaze.
