Metal Weight Grip Flat Core (MWGFC) @ TBTS - Bey Brad - Dec. 13, 2007

I've been screwing around with Anne's Beyblades, and I've been using a Circle Upper/Defense Ring/MWGFC combo ... and for the life of me, I can't stop the think from flying itself out of the stadium nine times out of ten.

I don't have a grip available so I'm sure that's contributing, but can anyone else talk about how it is vs. GFC/GFCUM? is MWGFC simply too slippery to be using in this stadium? Or do I just suck after not playing for like two years?

Nah, even back in the day I had trouble with it as well. I think it's mostly because of the shape of the tip, which is rounded in the sides, so unlike other RCs that circle around the edge of the tornado ridge well (ie: Metal Flat Core, Grip Flat Core UM), MW GFC tends to slide off easily. Grip Flat Core UM is hard to control at times too, but I still find it easier to use, besides being more powerfull (which in TBTS is usually what we should be going for).

I don't have TB, so I can't say how well it'd do there, but it'd probably be harder for it to go flying out of the stadium, especialy using such a heavy WD. Plus, if it has an easier time achieving the flower like pattern to hit endurancers in the middle of that stadium, that's where I'd stick with using it.

I used to love using this thing in TB, but couldn't really remember using it in TBTS, which is why I asked. Thanks.

Isn't this Blade Part go to Dragoon MF?

Yes.

Chalk it up to being rusty. ;p
Lack of grip probaly is a hindrance too. It'll come back though, for me I usually used sliding shoot with it.
