BB-18 Thunder Libra DF145BS draft - Wombat - Mar. 29, 2012

Here I go again. I read Imperial's thread about Hasbro products, and couldn't find it on search, so This is it.

{{Beybox
| image = ThunderLibra.jpg
| full item name = Thunder Libra DF145BS
| item number = BB-18
| beyblade system = [[Metal Fight Beyblade]]
| beyblade type = [[Survival|Stamina]]
}}

Thunder Libra DF145BS is a Stamina Type Beyblade released in Hasbro's legend series.

==Face Bolt: Libra==
The Face Bolt depicts Libra, the seventh astrological sign in the zodiac. In this design, the Face is blue and the word "Libra" has been removed.

==Clear Wheel: Libra==
*'''Weight: 2.8 grams'''
Weight: 2.8g
This version of Libra is an opaque dark green, featuring scales on opposite sides.

===Mold Variations===
The original mold of Libra does not fit Metal Wheels correctly, resulting in a loose fit and rattling. This was later rectified in the Hybrid Wheel Reshuffle Set (Stamina & Defense) release

==Metal Wheel: Thunder==
*'''Weight''': 30.2 grams
Thunder is a predominantly round wheel, with line-like indents at regular intervals and several small blades on opposing sides. It somewhat resembles a small Basalt or the original Libra wheel, but is much lighter. It was originally based off of the Libra Wheel, but is inferior due to a weight difference of more then 10 grams and has poor weight distribution in comparison. One advantage to its weight is that it is light and deflective, but it is outclassed in terms of Stamina by top tier Stamina wheels such as Phantom and Scythe.
===Use in Stamina Customization===
Thunder can be used in the following customization:
*'''Thunder Bull AD145EWD'''

==Spin Track: Down Force 145==
*'''Weight''': 3 grams
DF145 has four small, upward facing blades that protrude from the top of the track. Along with providing more weight, they were also designed to push air down for increased Stability and Stamina. However, both effects remain negligible and it is outclassed by nearly every other 145 based Track, save 145 and M145. DF145 was once used for Stamina customizations, but performs poorly against 230 and 85 based opponents.
===Use in Stamina Customization===
If you do not posess any other 145 variant, 230, or 85, DF145 can be put to use in this customization:
*''': Burn Bull DF145SD'''

==Performance Tip: Ball Spike==
*'''Weight''': 1 gram
BS is, as its name suggests, a combination of the Ball and Spike Performance Tips. It has no attack potential and little friction with the ground, but poor balance, a problem experienced by all forms of S. It is recommended that B, SD, or WD be used instead of this tip.

==Other Versions==
*'''Flame Libra T125ES'''
*'''Infinity Libra GB145S'''
*'''Dark Libra ED145SD''': Face Off Set-Metal Wing Smash

==Overall==
*'''Weight''': 37 grams
'''Thunder Libra DF145BS''' is comprised of outclassed parts; there is no reason to purchase this Beyblade other then for collection purposes.

RE: BB-18 Infinity Libra DF145BS draft - Cygnus - Mar. 29, 2012

Shouldn't it be it be Infinity Libra GB145S and in Other Versions Thunder Libra DF145BS?

RE: BB-18 Infinity Libra DF145BS draft - Wombat - Mar. 29, 2012

There is already an Infinity Libra GB145S article, and Infinity is the Japanese name for Thunder. If there is Flame Libra T125ES other variations with both Infinity Libras, why not this one too?

RE: BB-18 Infinity Libra DF145BS draft - Byerg - Mar. 29, 2012

If this is suppose to be the Hasbro Thunder Libra DF145BS, which it is obviously trying to be, then it should say Thunder, not Infinity, so that needs to be changed.
And the weights of Infinity and Thunder are different IIRC.

RE: BB-18 Infinity Libra DF145BS draft - Wombat - Mar. 29, 2012

Oh, ok, when I asked if I should post this in the Eonis thread, Kai-V said that Thunder was Infinity. I actually couldn't find the weight for Thunder, and don't have a scale or something at home.
EDIT: nm, I got it, it's 30.2 grams.

RE: BB-18 Infinity Libra DF145BS draft - Byerg - Mar. 29, 2012

It is basically the same wheel, but that does not mean thar you can call Thunder "Infinity" or vise versa, because they are still different wheels.

RE: BB-18 Thunder Libra DF145BS draft - Wombat - Mar. 29, 2012

I know, it's kind of like painting storm white and calling it wind.
But what problems do you see with the draft that I could improve? Any lack of content, grammatical errors, etc.?

RE: BB-18 Thunder Libra DF145BS draft - Byerg - Mar. 29, 2012

The Libra clear wheel section....so wrong. Libra is a horribly balanced clear wheel and was never banned. You are mistaking it for the Metal System Libra Wheel.

RE: BB-18 Thunder Libra DF145BS draft - Wombat - Mar. 29, 2012

Ok, I changed it. But isn't it the Metal System Libra Wheel?

RE: BB-18 Thunder Libra DF145BS draft - Byerg - Mar. 29, 2012

The Metal System Libra Wheel is what we would call in MFB a Metal Wheel.
So no, it is nowhere close.

RE: BB-18 Thunder Libra DF145BS draft - Wombat - Mar. 29, 2012

So what you're saying is that there is a Libra Metal Wheel. I never knew such a thing existed.

RE: BB-18 Thunder Libra DF145BS draft - Byerg - Mar. 29, 2012

There is a whole line of beyblades that you must not know about then. I'd suggest going onto the Beywiki and learning about them. Others include Wolf, Pegasis, Leone, Sagittario, Escolpio, Capricorne, Bull, Aquario, Pisces, Aries, Gemious, and Bull.
Since you didn't know, that also brings me to my next point, in which you should talk about the major differences between Libra and Thunder and how Libra is much better.

RE: BB-18 Thunder Libra DF145BS draft - Kai-V - Mar. 30, 2012

Since there is already a draft being worked on for Infinity Libra, I will have to close this. See if you can improve on the other draft.
