RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium and Combo Testing II! New Rules! MUST READ OP! - spiralcapricorn - Feb. 24, 2012 I'll be adding some tests for the thread to help out sice I have a good amount of new parts thanks to my local Toysrus . You guys PM what you want tested and it can ONLY be with the Hasbro parts I have (wasn't able the get the attack version of Destroyer or Poison Zurafa so I can't test the parts that are useful but they are available at my Toysrus and will be bough sometime next month, I have three of the four MLD beys and two LLD Metal Wheels and Clear Wheels from various things I got from loacl stores and Christmas.) RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium and Combo Testing II! New Rules! MUST READ OP! - th!nk - Feb. 24, 2012 There's still some stuff about stadium limitations in the OP in some sections, as well as the silly "no tt normal metal faces" thing that should have been deleted. RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium and Combo Testing II! New Rules! MUST READ OP! - LeonTempest - Feb. 24, 2012 Sorry I havent been around much lately. I removed the metal faces comment, and added the list of stadiums the tier list will be based on to the OP, however I made sure to bold that all stadiums are allowed. Before I recieve any un-needed backlash on this, I have asked all of you if basing the central tier list on the previously limited stadiums is acceptable. The tiers will generaly apply to all stadiums anyway, and seperate tier lists can be constructed at another time once we have the main Hasbro metagame under control. As for the tier list itself, it is on its way, although dont expect it to be as grand as a project as it was originaly made out to be. If any of you wish to pm your own personal tier list findings to me, by all means, do so. You will be creditied approprietly. All I have on the list so far are analytical notes on SF, LLD, and Hasbro vs TT notes in general. I plan to start writing about how recoil is effective in these stadiums with attack types next, and then I should really get into all of the different F tips and thier properties, which should take some time, but it will get done. (Feb. 24, 2012 4:49 AM)kbuno50 Wrote: Is twisted even top tier? IMO, it is possible that your Earth combo had more stamina, and Stamina>Defense. But if this is one of those Graffiti Den stadiums, then do not be suprised if your tests are abnormal. EDIT: It is Graffiti Den...not to sound rude, because I do really appreciate all of the effort you are putting in to this, but do you have any stadiums other than these? because drawing conclusions from these "half-pipe" stadiums makes as much sense as an apple growing in a grape vine. RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium and Combo Testing II! New Rules! MUST READ OP! - th!nk - Feb. 24, 2012 Unless Basalt wasn't making contact, it should still have won, unless it was making abnormal contact with the stadium at some point throughout each battle. RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium and Combo Testing II! New Rules! MUST READ OP! - LeonTempest - Feb. 24, 2012 If I had to guess, Basalt is a big wheel, and Graffiti Den is a rather small...erm..."stadium-like-skater-thingy". Ignoring the strange shape it has for a moment, picture a battle with these 2 beys in SVS. I doubt the results would be any different from what they are here. RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium and Combo Testing II! New Rules! MUST READ OP! - th!nk - Feb. 24, 2012 Basalt is one of, if not the, smallest wheels in existence. Basalt should still win in a stamina battle between the two. RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium and Combo Testing II! New Rules! MUST READ OP! - kbuno50 - Feb. 24, 2012 Actually, the relatively flat surface it provides make the beys on d-based tips move more, deeming basalt useless. RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium and Combo Testing II! New Rules! MUST READ OP! - th!nk - Feb. 24, 2012 Really? Wow, how bad can you screw up a stadium with no walls so that basalt doesn't win in it... RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium and Combo Testing II! New Rules! MUST READ OP! - spiralcapricorn - Feb. 24, 2012 Sadly I was stuck with the SV Stadium until last Christmas and the ONLY version of the Maximum Stampede Stadium I was able to get was WITH the craters and I don't have another oher stadiums on that list . Sorry. RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium and Combo Testing II! New Rules! MUST READ OP! - LeonTempest - Feb. 24, 2012 You are allowed to test whatever you want now. You may use whatever Hasbro stadium you wish. RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium and Combo Testing II! New Rules! I cant imagine twisted losing by outspin that much lol. those craters must be messing with its results heavily. also what launchers did you use? RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium and Combo Testing II! New Rules! MUST READ OP! - LeonTempest - Feb. 25, 2012 I would appreciate it if you would stop making comments like that Kbuno. Someone else needs to validate your tests before something so blunt can be declared. Otherwise people will begin to say incorrect things. I do not doubt your tests, but please understand my standpoint Kbuno. RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium and Combo Testing II! New Rules! MUST READ OP! - Raigeko13 - Feb. 25, 2012 For once I must agree with you LTXIII - you need a bit more testing done before you can say something like that. In addition, CW's are all different. If you slap an Aquario on Vulcan, that's for sure not top tier, as Aquario blocks the contact points. If you were to categorize them it should be something similar to this: Graffiti Den: CW's: ATK: DEF: STAM: ect. RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium and Combo Testing II! New Rules! Well I was surprised that even though my EWD was worn from constantly getting KOed during my five-way Maximum series battle (I was trying to take a picture of all five of them in a battle with my new DSi, not easy) and I was using my Flame Byxis WD that I got from the Starbreaker Team Pack (same way I got EWD) and it wasn't worn at all it's surprised me. I'll do the retesting when I buy the single pack Befall along with Destroyer attack version and Poison Zurafa on Saturday March 3rd (aka eight days from now) and retest it and I'll do the regulation ten/twenty round test after I get back (heck I might even have more beys then just them on the third) . RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium and Combo Testing II! New Rules! MUST READ OP! - LeonTempest - Feb. 25, 2012 Rai: We have colaborated in the past. I believe when this thread was 1st made, and a bit before that too. You only recently have harbored ill feeling towards me due to the crazyness that errupted here a few pages back...all of us were at fault then. I do hope we can re-establish some form of acceptance for one another, for the benifit of the thread, and for a healthier atmoshpere on the site as well. =D @Kbuno: Do you have anything besides Graffiti Den? And if you do, could I ask a favor? Not only try to test in other stadiums more often, but could you post size comparison picks between that and another Hasbro stadium? If you dont have another stadium, maybe a picture of the Graffiti Den with a coin or hand inside of it? Only if you are willing of course. Dont feel obligated. RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium and Combo Testing II! New Rules! MUST READ OP! - kbuno50 - Feb. 25, 2012 Here's a comparison : Spoiler (Click to View) RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium and Combo Testing II! New Rules! MUST READ OP! - LeonTempest - Feb. 25, 2012 Thank you for the pics. Not as bad as I thought. Still, the area inside the Tornado Ridge is ridiculosly small. Does any frequent combat occur on that ramp area outside the TR? RE: Hasbro Metagame Stadium and Combo Testing II! New Rules! MUST READ OP! - kbuno50 - Feb. 25, 2012 Well, sometimes, when I battle my cousin, we launch on the ramp area making it go insane. Other than that, sometimes they knock each other up the ramp. On a CS tip, it circles the stadium and sometimes hits the other bey. HF/F battles have beys go up the ramp, andrubber attack type tips just fly past the TR and keep on circling on the wall. New Rules! MUST READ OP! - LeonTempest - Feb. 25, 2012 ^These are great. Thank you. Earth Wolf 105WD isnt a terrible bey uncustomized. It is actualy one of the better low height defense-stamina combos in my opinion. Next time just slap a better CW on there. Eagle, Virgo, Aquario, Bull or Cancer are all better than Wolf for Earth. Virgo and Eagle were designed for Earth, and resonate well with it. Aquario an dBull are some of the heaviest wheels, and if you dont have either of them, Cancer/Gasher is a great substitute.
