universal restrictions - Meros - Mar. 23, 2009

So at that tournament/get together hosted by pinoy and bluezzz
Maz,pinoy, bluezz and myself were talking about the hidden spirts beyblades and we were wondering why are they banned from wbo play and why cant u atleast use there Ar

can anyone help me understand why or atleast a good reason?

RE: universal restrictions - Kei - Mar. 23, 2009

I have been wondering about this too actually haha. Why can't you use the AR from them?

RE: universal restrictions - Bey Brad - Mar. 23, 2009

It's because the Hasbro versions have weird notches on the ARs. In the future rules release I will state it so that you can use Takara HS AR. Not that anyone will.

RE: universal restrictions - Meros - Mar. 23, 2009

true but just curious

RE: universal restrictions - Rocky - Mar. 23, 2009

Wierd notches? You mean the wings or the parts that the spirits stick onto? Either way, why are they bad? Surely they're just another part of the design like every other beyblade? Not that I mind......but I'm interested to know........

RE: universal restrictions - Meros - Mar. 23, 2009

It's used to hold the figure on ...

RE: universal restrictions - Rocky - Mar. 23, 2009

Ah okay. So......why exactly are they bad? Providing they don't have a figure on of course. It's not like they stop it launching properly......I mean, I could just take it for granted but it's nice to know why you decided this. ^^;

RE: universal restrictions - Meros - Mar. 23, 2009

but why are the ar bad does it have an unfair advantage in battle ??

RE: universal restrictions - Rocky - Mar. 23, 2009

Unfair advantage? I doubt that is the case. XD

RE: universal restrictions - Meros - Mar. 23, 2009

lol i know im just as curious as u on why hey made that rule

RE: universal restrictions - Bey Brad - Mar. 23, 2009

Because they're not a standard-style designs. They're not part of the mainline ...

RE: universal restrictions - Meros - Mar. 23, 2009

Okay cool

RE: universal restrictions - Pepe le Penguin - Apr. 29, 2009

So the Triple Wing (attack ring Trygle) and the Upper Gragoon (Attack ring Master Dragoon) are in the restircted format because they give some kind of unfair advantage?

I also wanted to ask if the restricted format is supposed to be implimented in all battles, or only if the two bladers agree to follow those rules?

Sigh ... please read the Restricted Format section again ... it is optional.

I'm sorry. I re-read it and was still unsure. Another person (who will soon have an account) read it too, and we both agreed we should ask.
