this is one of the collest freakin games i have played. anyone that has plyed probably whould agree.those of u who have not u need 2. when is the last the last game u have played where u get 2 kill a dragon so big u can ride on it.

...I didn't know we had a Monster Hunter thread, not that I went to look.
I'm tempted on getting the Monster Hunter Freedom 2 and Freedom Unite dual pack at GameStop because waiting for the 3rd Portable will be forever.
Though, there's a chance that it might not come out because there's going to be a port of Portable 3rd for the PS3. http://www.4gamer.net/games/133/G013335/20110522002/
If they come out straight with this like how LamecoFaildai localized Tales of Graces f for the PS3 instead of the original Wii port, then it will probably allow online gaming like how Tri did compared to just 4-person Adhoc.

Actually, I think it will because a video of MHP3rd on Vita has already been shown.
Anyway. I am a die-hard hardcore fan of Monster Hunter. For me, MHFU was the best but it's closely followed by MHTriG. I also played the free trial of MHFO (Frontier) but I need to pay to play the whole game itself. I love using the Greatsword on the fastest monsters. I think I'm just that good. Not saying I'm good or anything.

Oh that was just Gamespot showing how the cross over game data works in Japan. What is the fastest monster you are talking about? Also, do you live in Japan or did you fake living in Japan to play MHFO?

Weakened myself is not to proof anything, is to trigger the adrenaline and heroic skill that can increase my attack power so I can kill it alone around 10 mins mark.

You got a Wii? Pick up Tri w/ Controller if you don't have a controller (note, I said Controller, not Wiimote).
Personally, I'm terrible solo because I'm more of a supporting member than a main man (Lobo reference for you DC Geeks out there

I tried it once and it worked but I forgot how to do it. Try youtubing it.

Played the PSP version..it is indeed one of the best game for PSP..hahah..
earlier quests were relatively easy..but once i entered elder dragons quest..one word..damn.....
never been able to kill them using close range weapon..haha..bowgun is easy to use for me though..

Ya I can relate. The first couple of ranks you are like "I got this". Then the monsters get really hard and you have to work really hard to kill them.

So it's been about a week and a few days (as of this post) since Monster Hunter Tri G had been localized outside Japan as Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate.
Some of my friends are already climbing up the Hunter Ranks since they started last week. Unfortunately, I started late because I ordered from Amazon with a cheaper sale. But to anyone who has the game, are you guys having fun with it? How far are you now?

ok heres the scoop. i got the game got up to the royal L. then i got mad i didn't have the right armor and the darn large monsters outside of town... incluing that bird with the combustible wing tips.... were all getting the best of me. i did however figure out you should never ever sell all your weapons except for one. bad idea. i know that now. so i restarted my game like a noob. i need help with the bird please the copy bird.
