A question for the community. Myself and Kai-V are wondering on what to do with the current episode titles on both respective site. Should we keep the original translations, use the more accurate dub titles or use both?

Both, in my opinion.

But if the titles are really similar, then just use the dub titles...

I doubt there will be much cuts at all in Nelvana's dub. They seemed to have gone all out with this one.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); June 26 2010 (USA); Fall 2 - Dude - May. 13, 2010

I finally (and luckily) saw a commercial for Metal Fusion on YTV and got to hear the voices a little better. Kyouya and all the others are alright. So, basically, only the main protagonist's and the main anatagonist's voices suck...Isn't that great...(Oh and Daidouji's voice sucks too)

Err is it just me or does Kyouya (Kyoya) sound like Chazz Princeton from yu-gi-oh gx, only better. XD

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); June 26 2010 (USA); Fall 2010 (UK) - Sin-hunter - May. 14, 2010

Like Chazz, really I haven't noticed....hmmm you know their voice is close that it doesn't sound the same as Chazz is kind of has a bit of more rough voice then Kyouya's

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); June 26 2010 (USA); Fall 2010 (UK) - Aqua - May. 15, 2010

The anime should be starting in a bit (on YTV in Canada).

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); June 26 2010 (USA); Fall 2010 (UK) - Crimson - May. 15, 2010

Just over 15 minutes to go. Tongue_out
I got my TV changed to YTV and I'm sitting down with my laptop ready for some Beyblade action.

Edit: Alright, It's gonna be on now!

Title card was a still of Storm Pegasus (Like all episodes), but with the "Hybrid Wheel" stickers edited. All it said was "METAL FUSION", I guess since this is a special premiere.
I'm PRETTY sure I heard Sean Schemmel voice one of those kids. that said "Let's Go!!" when passing Gingka.

Were they just edited off? Or did they replace it with something? (Oh my I haven't logged in in forever...)

See how the stickers have a light & dark blue stripe pattern? Just that, the red "Hybrid" and "Wheel" words were edited off.

Edit: The eyecatch of Storm Pegasus has been kept in, and yes the sticker was edited there too.

did it show the 30 second prologue?

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); June 26 2010 (USA); Fall 2010 (UK) - To - May. 15, 2010

Pretty sure they just cut off a scene where Benkei gets hit in the nuts.
Oh god, it's a Bakugan ad.

Are you referring to that little scene from before the opening? (With the constellations and that ends with Ginga launching Pegasis and the opening starts?)

If so, that's not in.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); June 26 2010 (USA); Fall 2010 (UK) - To - May. 15, 2010

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I heard Sean Schemmel as well, lol. I'm also sure that one of Kenta's friends in the beginning is the leader of the Screws in Medabots, the one with Peppercat.

Oh wow, in this scene Jenga actually sounds really nice.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); June 26 2010 (USA); Fall 2010 (UK) - DranzerX13 - May. 15, 2010

They probably took that off for the special premiere. it might be in the actual episodes when they air individually.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); June 26 2010 (USA); Fall 2010 (UK) - Crimson - May. 15, 2010

Oh god, Kyoya's voice.
He called Benkei and his teams "Wittle Babies"

And he called Gingka "Stinka"
AHAHAHA.

"Lee-Own"

Yeah, it might be some time edits, because usually YTV would've had another commercial break by this time in an episode.
$1 says Kenta's voice actor is an older woman.

Hahahaha, yes. Kenta keeps saying "Jenga".

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); June 26 2010 (USA); Fall 2010 (UK) - Crimson - May. 15, 2010

In the scene where Gingka puts his gear together to fight the 100 bey, Storm Pegasus was unedited.

"The difference between winning and losing is the Blader's Spirit!"

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); June 26 2010 (USA); Fall 2010 (UK) - To - May. 15, 2010

I'm thinking the Beyblade shot to Benkei's crotch was a time edit, because him getting dropped on the pole is still there.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); June 26 2010 (USA); Fall 2010 (UK) - DranzerX13 - May. 15, 2010

since this is a special premiere, the next episode previews won't be there, well except for ep5 preview at the end of ep4.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); June 26 2010 (USA); Fall 2010 (UK) - Crimson - May. 15, 2010

As expected, they showed an eyecatch and phased directly into Episode 2.

Haha, Benkei complaining about his carpal tunnel.

RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion (Anime) - May 15 2010 (Canada); June 26 2010 (USA); Fall 2010 (UK) - Kai-V - May. 15, 2010

There is no Dizzi, thankfully.

Blader DJ's voice is too low.

Almost everybody else's voices are quite good.

I think they also changed "Shooting Star Attack" to "Star Blast Attack", unless he used Star Blast in the second episode.
