Ok, so I'm gonna order a Super Nintendo (SNES) soon. I'm buying the system for $60 and I'm gonna have $96 to spend on games (And an extra controller) I used to have a SNES, but that was like 7 years ago. So, anybody know any good games, I need to decide what games to order within the next 2 weeks.

-MegaMan X
-Donkey Kong Country (1,2, and 3)
-StarFox
-Kirby Super Star
-Earthbound
-Super Metroid
-Super Gameboy
-Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

Games for Super GameBoy (Anybody know any good GB games besides Pokemon? Lol)
-Kirby's Dreamland 2
-Kirby's Dreamland
-Kirby's Pinball Land
-BomberMan GP
-Super Mario Land
-Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins

I hear that Chrono Trigger game is pretty good.

RE: Super Nintendo (SNES) Any Suggestions? - Crimson - Dec. 05, 2010

Super Metroid
Super Castlevania IV
Secret of Mana

I would recommend Chrono Trigger and EarthBound, but I think they'd go over your budget.

RE: Super Nintendo (SNES) Any Suggestions? - ShredderN64 - Dec. 05, 2010

All of these are great games. But if you're lookin' for Kirby, Kirby Super Star's where it's at.

RE: Super Nintendo (SNES) Any Suggestions? - Wizard - Dec. 06, 2010

Ok, I updated the list. Anything that was named that isn't on it yet are games that I have played before and didn't like very much.

RE: Super Nintendo (SNES) Any Suggestions? - ShredderN64 - Dec. 06, 2010

Man, there are TONS of great GameBoy games. Just a few are Kirby's Dreamland 2, Kirby's Pinball Land, Micro Machines, R-Type, and Bomberman GP.

Lol, I know I just couldn't think of any at the time. although if you say a GBC game then it has to be one that works on Super Gameboy (for SNES)

Umm, Chocked Kirby Superstar Ultra is a DS game. Kirby Super Star (no "Ultra" here) is a SNES game though.

I've tried playing that game a few times. I didn't like it very much.

You mean Super Bomberman?

My friend Ryan has Kirby Super Star, he said it's really fun. I may consider buying it.

RE: Super Nintendo (SNES) Any Suggestions? - Dude - Dec. 09, 2010

I can't believe no one said Super Mario RPG yet.

It's one of my favourite game ever!

And I second the recommendation of Super Castlevania IV. Soooooooo good. Espiecially the music.

Lol, Super Mario RPG is way too expensive. Just because I'm spending $90 on games, $60 on the Console, and $5 on an extra controller. Doesn't mean I'm going to spend $50 - $60 on one measly game. (Not that I would expect you to know the prices anyways.)

Are the Castlevania games even any good? One of my friends told me what they are about, doesn't sound very good to me. Killing Vampire's, seriously? Don't I hear enough about Vampire's as it is?

RE: Super Nintendo (SNES) Any Suggestions? - Dude - Dec. 09, 2010

You get what you pay for, mate.

It may be expensive (It sure wasn't on Virtual Console) but it's terribly fun.

Just checked the price. Super Mario RPG is $44.95 (Def. not buying it)

Is Mario Paint any good? What exactly is it (It's only 14.95 and it comes with the mouse controller)

RE: Super Nintendo (SNES) Any Suggestions? - Dude - Dec. 09, 2010

I stand with what I said. You get what you pay for.

But Mario Paint is pretty fun. The best part is that weird mini-game where you have to kill various insects. That was epic.

Is there even any point to Mario Paint? And yes, you get what you pay for.

RE: Super Nintendo (SNES) Any Suggestions? - Kai-V - Dec. 09, 2010

Super Mario RPG is definitely worth that price in my opinion.

Mario Paint was quite cool. I do not know as an adult now, but I liked it when I was younger for sure.

RE: Super Nintendo (SNES) Any Suggestions? - J' - Dec. 09, 2010

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island was, and still is, one of my favorite platform games ever, I suggest you'd check it out as well Smile

RE: Super Nintendo (SNES) Any Suggestions? - Vulcan R2F - Dec. 09, 2010

how can you not get super mario RPG? its the best game for SNES and i finished 4 times without getting bored. its worth the price i agree with dude and kai v

RE: Super Nintendo (SNES) Any Suggestions? - ShredderN64 - Dec. 09, 2010

Aw yeah, Mario Paint. I loved that game. It was kind of like a MS Paint with a couple minigames and, the best part; the music program.
