RE: Snipe Shooting Draft - Janstarblast - Mar. 18, 2011

@neoknux- He said its difficult to get one...
Deikailo- I think that Gattyaki is a mid air attack... This seems more like, 'a starblast attack right at the time of launch'! LOL!!!

RE: Snipe Shooting Draft - Deikailo - Mar. 18, 2011

She, actually, and this no, youraw, what you do is a shot called gattyaki, something I mentioned at the very beginning was completely different

RE: Snipe Shooting Draft - youraw23 - Mar. 18, 2011

yes i know what i said i did before is a snipe shot of that i'm sure, however i wasn't explaining what idid, i was explaining something totaly difforent that i do time to time.
janpegasus: ~ This seems more like, 'a starblast attack right at the time of launch' ~
__________

actuly, thats what i was hopeing to get the first time i tried this, but the results aren't the same...It doesn't compleatly destroy your opponent, well....unless you get it with less then a...oh say.....98.187% perfect shot. only once did i get that and the other bey fly across the room and went in between a couch cusion....but the chances of me ever having that happen again are about one in a million. you're free to try it though....

RE: Snipe Shooting Draft - Janstarblast - Mar. 18, 2011

I know! Its completely different in the anime.... I am saying that it looks the same.... I never said the consequences are similar..

RE: Snipe Shooting Draft - youraw23 - Mar. 18, 2011

well, then yes.

I've done it five times consecutively before.

RE: Snipe Shooting Draft - youraw23 - Mar. 18, 2011

well, you did say it was your signature attack, where as mine is a very basic attack-type attack. pegasus spins around the bowl at increadable speeds, then (if the opponent is at the edge) (hopefully they are) they are knowed out of the statium! other wise i use the.....(gosh darn it what was the name...? thay have a vid for it in the bey channel)....attack!

RE: Snipe Shooting Draft - Pimpju - Mar. 18, 2011

I'm not sure about anyone else, but when I try and use a gattyaki, I mainly thought of this, and never bothered with the main form.

RE: Snipe Shooting Draft - youraw23 - Mar. 19, 2011

I've noticed, in the show it shows storm capricorn haveing a very.....odd, performence tip, like an angled spike (ment for sniping attacks. but it seems to me like the beyblade here doesn't. I know I may be confused because my capricorn i traded for came with not only a different performance tip but with none of the stickers (i know it's a capricorn though i checked). whats cool about this is the spin track lets you position its tilt, if put at the right spot it will hop around the statium! but tel me, is this efective for the snip shot and/or is the performance tip part a fluke?

Having Q won't affect it at all. How will having a slanted bottom affect hitting your opponent in midair?

RE: Snipe Shooting Draft - BeyPhilosopher - Mar. 19, 2011

He probably misinterpreted it, as in slanted tips will bounce in the "air" and hit them. But it still doesn't really make to confuse between the two.

RE: Snipe Shooting Draft - Bluezee - Mar. 20, 2011

So this is what I have been practicing! I couldn't figure out a proper term for it. Now I see. Great thread/draft/shot!

RE: Snipe Shooting Draft - Dan - Mar. 20, 2011

I will practice this definitely, though I can only battle a 4 year old right now. :V

RE: Snipe Shooting Draft - youraw23 - Mar. 20, 2011

yes, i was asking a wuestion and makeing a statment at the same time, i can see how that is confusing. i ment to have them in two seperate sentances. btw i'll be getting that video done sometime in the next week....•_•

RE: Snipe Shooting Draft - Themailman - Mar. 20, 2011

Hey, couldn't the silly led sight and an angle compass be used together to achieve the accuracy needed to do this snipe shot really consistently? I mean, to get it sighted properly would take along time, but it might be fun to test.

I'm thinking, you use the angle compass to get the balance right (for consistency), and then use the laser sight to get it all lined up.

I know its silly, but I think the laser sight is kind of cool and would love to see an actual use for it! XD

RE: Snipe Shooting Draft - Shabalabadoo - Mar. 21, 2011

Ders some tin' I 'ain't gettin' here.
How high do the people launch that you usually do this to?
I launch less than an inch away from the stadium, and I don't think other people launch very high, so how can this be done?
Unless people in new York like to stand a few feet away(I'm joking here)

Well, I'm from LI, and I have seen that happen before. Wink But I would imagine that the description is somewhat misleading. That's what pictures are for I guess.

RE: Snipe Shooting Draft - Bluezee - Mar. 23, 2011

It is not about launching high at all. It is the fact that the person snipe shooting is at a height and far enough distance where they can fully extend their arm and have enough momentum and force to send the opponent out with not only the weight but the gravity around the beyblade as well. A sniper does not have to be at the same level of height to take out a person do they? With enough accuracy and firepower, they can assure a headshot from the top of a building and hit someone running in the park.

RE: Snipe Shooting Draft - Zaneago - Mar. 23, 2011

It exsplained alot thanks very much love you'r posts.

No problem. Glad to help.

RE: Snipe Shooting Draft - Sniper - Mar. 23, 2011

i think that having a angle compass and led sight help cause it helps when knowing where the blade is gonna land

No, that's not what I meant.
I didn't mean that the "snipe shooter" was Launching high, I meant that the person that was being "sniped" launches less than an inch away from the stadium.
How can you hit that midair?

RE: Snipe Shooting Draft - youraw23 - Mar. 29, 2011

well if you have enoughmomentum to speed up the time it takes to get the the statium, i supose you can do it... the easyest way i can think of for that is to aim closer to the satium

How can you hit that midair?
Then you don't use this technique. Pretty simple. Wink

RE: Snipe Shooting Draft - Shabalabadoo - Mar. 29, 2011

Then when would you ever use it?
