Around Valentine's Day, we have a sale of hearts which we can send to anyone we want, but they are examined by the principal, and if anything is deemed "innapropriate", or has no named sender, they are thrown out. Then, sometimes, the teachers read them first, and they tease the kids that send them. This has happened to me two years in a row.

At Rec Night ( a school night with b-ball, dancing, air hockey, etc) i wore a T-shirt saying "IM IN MIAMI (FEMALE DOG). It was neon yellow with black lettering. They told me never to wear it again. I got the idea from an LMFAO video.

Well in my school-
1.We should maintain silence and maintain a high standard of behavior.
2.We should speak English(Compulsory).
3.Should maintain regularity in Homework.
4.Hair must be well groomed.
5.School uniform is compulsory and on birthdays too.
6.Must reach in time before the assembly. If coming late we will be sent back.
7.Should not bring newspapers,magazine etc.
8.We should not damage any school property.

And only 1,2,3,5 are applicable to me because my father is my school's Principal.
School Name-Podar International School.

RE: Ridiculous School Rules - SnakeFangsâ„¢ - Feb. 08, 2012

We are not allowed to touch frogs in are school, I dont know why. Teachers these days jump on you for every little thing.

RE: Ridiculous School Rules - PhantomPaladin - Feb. 17, 2012

If someone is beating you up go to a teacher straight away so they get excluded

You think thats a good rule?
Nope think about it if someones got you in a headlock punching you how are you meant to tell a teacher, so then you start fighting back the a teacher spots the fight and excludes you aswell

RE: Ridiculous School Rules - Hazel - Feb. 17, 2012

Simply because the rule occasionally backfires when people take the wrong course of action in response does not mean the rule itself is flawed.

RE: Ridiculous School Rules - 3-Dog - Feb. 17, 2012

Teachers went to school once too, ya know. If you talk to them they can usually figure out who the aggressor was and who was simply defending himself from harm.

RE: Ridiculous School Rules - Hazel - Feb. 17, 2012

It is almost as if most certified teachers actually got a degree in things that mention such matters, in fact.

Because they did.

So crapy? My school on the other hand is awesome teachers aren't so strict, and their awesome! If your in head lock fight back! I don't care the teacher will know who on the right side. and who not. Teacher who make both students in trouble are the ones that don't care what happened or how it started.

RE: Ridiculous School Rules - Goldchain2 - Feb. 24, 2012

We have laptops at are school, and we are not alowed to talk on Google Docs. Period. Even if we're conversing about the topic itself. In fact, I got a discipline slip for posting 3 words. We were in Science Class.

RE: Ridiculous School Rules - Samurai Changer - Feb. 24, 2012

My school has these good behavior slips called "zephyr zingers" (LMFAO!) if you win this drawing (the chances are 1 in 500) you win a....................................wait for it...............................pencil!

over in USA we have school 5 days a week if u just put the hours were there its still like 4 days altogether

RE: Ridiculous School Rules - Hyper27 - Feb. 26, 2012

Actually, isn't there like 7-8 hours in a normal school day? So since we go to school 5 days a week, it will range from 35-48 hours meaning it is about 1.5 - 2 days.

if we r good for an entire week which only about 50 people out of 400 make we get recces and the teachers think that everyone planned "oh im gonna walk around the gym 4 half an hour" theres like 3 basketballs 4 the whole entire 50 and 2/3 r usually flat (sigh)

RE: Ridiculous School Rules - Coffeewithcream - Feb. 26, 2012

The only middle school rule that bothers me is no snowball fights during reccess.the problem is in Illinois there can be 15 in. And we are supposed to make snowmen every day?

I do not think any of these are abnormal or ridiculous... asking children not to be heathens seems perfectly reasonable. I sincerely wish my school had been this way.
