I opened up my Random Booster and BAM! Gravity Perseus BD145XF. I immediately began to play with Gravity, as I really needed one. I also started to play with XF, as I found it interesting. I looked at my parts, and constructed a combo that did suprisingly well. Metal Face to reduce recoil, Gravity Perseus for Left-Spin and weight, GB145 for weight and velocity, and XF for added Stamina and power. To make sure I didn't get a dud, I went overboard on testing, testing for hours! So, here's the tests:

EQUIPMENT
MFB Attack Stadium
Launcher Grip + Light Launcher 2
3 Sg. Launcher Grip + Light Launcher 3 (L)

CONDITIONS
Defense-type shot first
Perseus shot with Banking, Left spin
20 rounds
XF near-mint
RS near-mint

vs Basalt (Click to View)

MF Gravity Perseus GB145XF Win Rate - 93%

So, why does this combo win?

WEIGHT - The weight of this combo allows it to hit hard and counter the light grip of XF. This is why I chose Gravity over Lightning, because Gravity is heavier than Lightning.

VELOCITY - The plastic grip of XF and the added velocity of GB145 allow this combo to hit harder and spin steal better.

DUAL-SPIN - With Gravity being left-spin, this combo can outspin many Defense types without hitting them. It's versatility makes it great in tournament situations.

GRAVITY BOWL 145 - GB145 adds an element of survivability to the combo. When the combo runs out of power, GB145 gives it a last stretch of strength to hold up.

Man, I really need a 230. So, it would be nice if some of you guys could do some 230 tests? I'd also like this tested against MF-H Gravity Perseus (Left Spin Defense) BD145CS.

So, let the criticisms begin!

Dual Spin-direction Great versatility in tournament situations.

You got Gravity Perseus BD145XF? Lucky...

Anyways, this seems like an interesting combo. Any XF combo (not Dark Gil, as I proved in another thread) can get an easy win rate against Basalt BD145CS by stalling on the TR. Can you do some tests VS Stamina Beyblades. I'll test this soon...

Sure, I'll do it later, as I'm sick of testing. :X

Didn't even think of that. Smile
Is this combo supposed to defeat attack combos too, because LLD 85RF kills it

What? Easy win rate? More like draws. Anyways, how did this combo win? KO or OS? I will do some testing. Is Defense Clear wheel sounds good? I will test against Attack too.

P.S Gravity Sucks in my metagame. Sorry.
- Gravity won almost all the time by OS. It did score some awesome KOs, though.
Eh....:
Quote:MF Gravity Perseus GB145XF - 75%
MF-H Libra GB145CS - 25%

You said there were Ties over and over, but how would that be if 75% Win%ile was achieved on Libra?
I would expect Basalt to do better. Defeating RS is still no problem, though. You need to test Versus 230CS, by someone...

Try this:

MF GP GB145XF VS. MF-H Basalt Aquario GB145CS
No testing results against 230CS combos? Try them out please. You need some CS results too. RS naturally suffers balance issues against opposite spin. You are also lacking Basalt combos.
It's because he doesn't have 230...

By the way, are the KO's smashes or bump outs?
it wins because the opponents have no stamina
xf really only seems to work right with ldragos
- I said specifically Basalt CS combos kept tying; GP took out Libra CS no problem. I'd say half of the KOs were bump outs and half were smashes.

- That's how this combo won so many times. I almost found it pointless that I was banking because the defense combo would bump GP out of it's flower pattern and Gravity would circle around it and then come in and suck the last of the defense combos spin. Against CS, though, it was mandatory that it hit the defense combo repeatadly.

- I know I'm lacking Basalt combos, but that was because after hours of testing, I was sick of testing and figured I had enough results to get it started. I did 180 battles, Pinching_eyes
So, how do you exactly launch this thing? I know you banked it, but whats the strength? 20% etc. I wanna test it. Against MF-L Lightning L-Drago BD145LRF and such. Although i guarantee that its going to lose, XF doesnt do good against Attackers.

I think it was like 90%, because it didn't go all psycho-crazy when I launched it.
This seems like an interesting combo I really want to test it but I am lacking an XF. I could have probably done some testing against Basalt 230 as well, maybe if I experiment a bit with WF as a substitution I can try generate similar results.
I used Defense Clear Wheel. If it affects results, then...

MF Gravity Perseus (Left Spin, Counter Mode) GB145XF Vs MF-H Basalt Bull 230CS
MF Gravity Perseus: 7 wins (0 OS, 7 KO)
MF-H Basalt Bull: 13 wins (11 OS, 2 KO)
Win Percentage: 35%
The clear wheel shouldn't make a little difference, nothing too much. At most a 10% difference. With those results, it doesn't seem too impressive.
Azlan, your being very critical for little reason at all. Give Ink a break.
An little used/mint XF will indeed win over Basalt BD145CS, Azlan, numerous people have gotten those results, it is undeniable. A worn one though is a different story.
Do you mind testing against MF-H Basalt Kerbecs 85RS for me?

I can test against MF-H Basalt Kerbecs 85RS for you.

Thank you, Dan, for being so supportive.
My Apologies Ink. Sorry if i was being to Harsh on you. Gravity Perseus GB145XF is good against Left Spinners, being able to be faster than them. However, battling Right Spin, makes Gravity gets KOd easily by Low Attack, such as Screw, Vulcan etc.

Maybe R145 could settle this?

Anyways, as Dan requested.

MF Gravity Perseus GB145XF Vs MF-H Basalt Bull 85RS
MF Gravity Perseus: 18 wins (18 OS, 0 KO)
MF-H Basalt Bull: 2 wins (1 OS, 1 KO)
Win Percentage: 90%

Thanks Azlanslayer, apology accepted. Wow, good results. So, I'm guessing we should do Attack on Attack testing too?

I'll do some more Basalt testing today, too. Flaming Aries is going to help with some 230 combos.
Wait, what the hell?
Azlan test that against MF Meteo LDrago CH120XF, questions how the hell Fyuuor got anything relatively close to what he did in my thread. :\

A while ago, I tried Dark Gil 85XF against MF-H Basalt Kerbecs BD145CS and it couldn't win. Dark couldn't stall for too long because of its poor Stamina and lost. My tests with Meteo earlier showed that Meteo couldn't stall for that long, but Gravity might. I've been trying to do a proper stall but I keep on self-KOing or running into walls. I'll try to get some stalling times up later.
I realize Gravity will stall longer; it weighs more and that weight is on the outer sides of the wheel, of course it would.
Hell BD145XF is ridiculous, to a point you can barely keep it in at all, ever.
Dark? lolol of course it couldn't win; no equalizing. :V Useless ..
