Man i am so pumped up to give someone a fatality & Kratos only for PS3 , Doesn't get any awesomer than this
i really wanna see how ep boon did the stories on sub zero & scorpion , how their storylines collide , i really hope shujinko & taven have a good part to play & they still allow to create a custom combatant maybe , more than one custom characters

& is daegon dead in the storyline ???

I think he's still alive, here's the story summary:
...Raiden is about to be killed by Shao Kahn, and just before he delivers the last blow, he [Raiden] sends a mental message to his earlier self, so the camera rewinds back to Mortal Kombat 1. The Raiden from back then gets a message and he doesn't know what's going on, but he knows something bad's going to happen, and the game spans Mortal Kombat 1, 2, and 3, retelling the story with an enlightened Raiden, and he's changing the course of things, so everything you've seen happen before – Liu Kang winning, the guys turning into cybernetic ninjas, are changed around, so you might see a character become cybernetic who wasn't before, and so you see a different version [of events].

So everything you know about the past Mortal Kombat might be reinvented. For example,there's a very good chance that Smoke would be human instead of being a cyborg.

Wow seriously the game rocks i still don't get why Street Fighter gets more ratings than MK , it does have some powers & fancy stuff but no gore , no finishing moves + no awesome looking characters & no Sub Zero & Scorpion [ Ha Just added this 1 for fun ]

only thing i will miss is the 3D Cameras , especially doing fatalities will be extra hard again since UP arrow will now make the player jump sometimes while making a fatality combo

This is a little late but Mortal Kombat is banned in Australia. Guess I'll have to import... but no DLC would be a shame.

Ahh... i wanted to post here today , just saw the review of Marvel V/S Capcom : TFOTW & can't make up should i like it or hate it , it is just a added reason i am keeping my expectations high from MK , last year Naruto Shippuden : UNS2 saved beat em'ups for me , i am not much of a SF fan but i want to play Marvel vs capcom for Marvel heros , anyway back to MK , i am really looking for a awesome Konquest mode , i hope they meet my expectations Smile

Seeing there's a lot of talk about the newer MK Kast, I think I should remind those of you who don't know. Midway plan on removing most of the chaffy characters who were introduced to Mortal Kombat during the time it started to turn into nothing but carp. Kenshi is the only newer character confirmed for DLC and most other characters from Deception onwards will probably dissapear. I just hope Shinnok will be brought back as DLC.

I actually really liked the game's story up until the end.

It makes no sense.

And I also hadn't realized that a lot of the character were voiced by big-time anime voice actors, like Richard Epcard who voices Raiden or Jamieson Price (My favourite) who voices Sub-Zero.

The end tells us how less of a god Raiden appears to be. Not with the last fight, but with something else entirely. (I don't feel like fiddling around with spoiler tags right now)

EDIT: Definitely a MK10 in the future

But you won't get the awesome DLC (Or DLK, as some would put it). That's missing out on Rain, Kenshi, Skarlet and Klassic costume packs.

Why did he take the trouble of sending the message to himself, then, since Shao Kahn was so obviously going to win, anyway? And sending the message to himself didn't save anyone's life, everybody still died or got really really beat up! It just seems lazy...
