Getting back into Beyblades

so last week I saw some meme about Beyblades on Facebook which made me and my friend decide to bring some to school and now quite a few friends want to get into them so I was wondering if tournaments still happen in Melbourne and if they allow metal fusion Beyblades since I don't know what the format is like now.
By the way since this is a intro thread my name is Daniel if you couldn't tell from the name. I used to play Beyblades a few years ago and I want to get back into them.
The WBO format is pretty open, they don't allow synchrome stuff from what I'veheard and there's some banned parts, not only is there a list but if you prefer visual aids bbg even did a video showing the banned parts. =)

Tournaments in Australia are unfortunately basically nonexistent, but nothing really stops you from trying to host one yourself. From what you wrote, it sounds like you have at least more than six people interested, right ?

If hosting is something you are considering, and to get familiar with the formats our tournaments can have, you should read our Organized Play Rulebook :

As well as our Event Guide :
