FACE CONTEST: Design a Grip & Accessories!

Well it's that time again bladers, one of our WBO famed Face Contests!

What we're looking for this time, is for you to design your own grip!
It can be big, small, any shape, size, or color that you want!
It could fit previous launchers, or perhaps the launcher is even built into the grip itself!

But here's where things get a little trickier.
As is the case with all grips, they must be able to have accessories added.

So not only do we want you to design a grip, but we want you to design 2 accessories that can be attached to it.
These don't have to be massively original (they're more to let us see just how realistic your grip is), but obviously the better they are, the more points you'll get from the judges in the long run.

As usual, there will be two winners!

* You must give some sort of explanation of your design, why you've made it the way it is, explanation of the features, and of course, 2 attached accessories must be added to your grip.
* Try to stay as realistic as possible; for instance, no engines or weapons attached to the grip.
* Limit one entry per person! Your first entry will be the only one that's considered, so work hard on it!
* The WBO Committee isn't eligible, as per usual.
* You have until 11:59 PM PST Friday July 23rd to submit your designs. Any entries after that will be disqualified!
* Post your entries in this thread! (You can also talk about the contest, ideas, or whatever in this thread as well!) However, you cannot post drafts of your entry and ask for feedback.

Our two winners will have their choice of
-Face Booster RED [Image: faceboosterred.png]
-Face Booster BLUE [Image: faceboosterblue.png]
-Face Booster GREEN [Image: faceboostergreen.png]
-Face Booster ORANGE [Image: faceboosterorange.png]

So gives us a grip to be proud of, and get designing!
I have an awesome idea for this one!

Thanks for the contest! Grin

Oooh, my first contest! I'm so excited!

Shouldn't the springs be on the other side..or am I missing something o.O
Ha ha, yeah, I realized that yesterday. Can't make another entry though, so it's staying that way.
Yay, I have waited a long time for another contest!

Sora thats a nice presentation, would have been better if it were for assisting like a suspension though.
Sora, would it be ok if I took your set up of the springs, but us them in a different way?

Uh, sure...
I like the concepts that people are coming out with, but people really need to realize that these contests don't need to be purely digital.
If you can hand draw something better than you can computer render it, then please do it that way and scan/take a decent photograph.
My scanner is broken and my camera sucks, lol
That's fine, it's just that people have a tendency to do this with every contest.
People rush the illustrations of their entry, and it hurts their entires in the long run.
I'm not saying that you aren't going to do well, as you've got some really nice ideas behind the designs!
It's just usually those who take their time on them that get better received overall.
Yeah, or else you get reverse springs, ha ha.
Some cool designs already Grin. If I have the time I'll be doing this as well.

This grip and it's accessories are only for MFB and the multi choice launcher accessory connects a beylauncher and shooter together.

I made it with the program Paint so don't laugh.

heres my entry

new stuff:

bey clip: used to attach a mf blade via holes in the side of the face bolt.

grip: shape allows for easy and comfortable hold

balance bubble:so you would know if you are holding the launcher off to the side or if its slanted.
does it have to be in colour?

No. A model could be done with mashed white paper and it would still be OK.

The ideas count.
ok thanks because mine has alot of details and it would be hard to colour it
Some really good entries so far, but a lot of these designs are all pretty similar to the grips we already have, try and push it further guys!
Think about shapes that might be more comfortable for the hands, maybe some more visual details going on.
Push the boundaries a little Grin
How do you guys post your designs like that?
could i do two models of the grip
No, just a single entry per person.

Obviously my design isn't valid, but if I could have entered the contest, this is how I would have done it.
People can treat the layout of the page (not the design) as a template to explain their own.
